1 and 2 BR Private Condos Steps Away From French Quarter

Yes it had a old smell to it and had ants in one bedroom by the window

Location¿ wasn¿t easy to find upon arrival in cab ¿ address was not easy to find

The location was exactly what we were looking for. Space was very clean and modern. Communication from the host was perfect. It was an excellent value too.

I would not change anything

It was very convenient to everything that we needed to go to for our conference. Clean from the inside of the condo to the outer part. When entering the building, it had a clean smell going through the hallway.

The location was central to everything we wanted to see.

The sofa bed not working, we were not able to adjust the air conditioning. The elevator took really long. And the hallway smell like cinnamon. Also the walls were very thin I could hear everyone outside my room.

I liked the location and that it was on the more quiet part of Canal St.

I didn't like that the pictures on the booking website was different from the condo. I though we were getting a condo with a balcony, but we were in the back of the building that didn't have a pretty scenery at all.

Our reservation was originally for the 4th floor apartment on Canal St. Apartment was clean, and presentation was as advertised, however there were two issues - toilet that appeared to have no vacuum and incessant intermittent loud noise from compressor on the roof, so bad I could not sleep the first night. To the renting company's (Hosteeva) credit, they sent a maintenance gentleman first thing in the morning, who confirmed both issues, and pronounced a toilet non-workable. The Hosteeva phone representative moved us within 15 minutes onto Hosteeva property onto Peters St without any additional payment. The new property was on a much better location and roomier, so my review below refers to that property. The apartment was very, very nice, airy and with lots of light, really steps to all interesting stuff. This one was very clean as well.

The first apartment has issues, loud noise from air conditioning compressor and it was rented to us without working toilet. This is the reason for giving 9 instead of 10.

It was close to everything and in walking distance. The condo itself was very nice and clean.

I really need a big mirror so people could see their outfit.

The property was perfect for our family trip, we were in walking distance from everything. The condos were clean and well equipped.

Great location, room is quiet you can’t even tell anyone else is around and clean.

Could use something in the shower/tub was very slippery.

Good location just a short walk across Canal Street to the French Q. Very convienent to the public transportation trolley lines that run up and down Canal Street. This location was close to several theaters, drug stores and places to eat. It was quiet, had an outside deck space, and a comfortable bed.

The unit was in a superb location and offered the perfect amount of space for our group.

The only recommendation we have is the addition of blackout curtains or shades. The rooms get very bright in the early morning.

Very spacious and comfortable for our group of 6. Very convenient location walking distance from bourbon st.

Located just outside the Quarter, was within walking distance for most things. Very homey feel to the place.

Being located on Canal Street, very noisy with emergency vehicles.

Important!Invite a good plumber! Tab faucet and sink in the bathroom are loose and the water gets into the wall!!!Seal it!

It was super close to everything we wanted to see and do! Perfect location!

We had to go to a whole different floor to use the balcony. Garbage cans are right next to the exit door so the smell was tough coming out of the complex. There is not designated parking which was very inconvenient but we made it work. Advertisement is not 100%. Somewhat misleading, but overall a good stay.

Close to attractions

More towels/linens would have been nice. The washer only filled with hot water even on the cold setting.

The condo was in a great location. Easy to walk to a lots of restaurants and the bars and Bourbon St. The 2 bed condo was situated away from the street and noise. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge plus. The door codes were easy to use and we felt safe. Ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms were very appreciated. Check out was simple, just take out the trash.

some things that could improve the condo: hooks in the bedroom or baths for jackets or towels, full length mirror.things that need work: one ceiling was noisy, off balance and clicked constantly, one lamp in the living room had a broken switch and could not be turned on.

Perfect walking location from anything in the French Quarter. Felt like a home away from home. Cute kitchen. Nice patio area.

Unfortunately our oven never worked once well here but the stove top did. And if you plan on staying a hole week like us I recommend buying one some cleaning spray so you can clean up after your self because there is no cleaning supplies other than some dish detergent and laundry detergent
