I would have been happier with this hotel had I not had the expectation that it would be a 3 star hotel. It was no where near that. And the mattress in the sofa bed was the worst that I had ever tried to sleep on. Springs were literally sticking up.

All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly. The breakfast choices were very good. The pancake machine was broken down the first day, but they got it fixed on our second day. Staff seemed to genuinely care about their guests.

The location was excellent for us, close to family, yet convenient to town. The siting by the lake was nicely done -- close enough to see, yet far enough not to be disturbed by boat and beech noise. One of the best 4th fireworks shows ever!

The hotel is in a beautiful location right on a lake. Almost all the rooms have balconies with a great view! The room was reasonably clean and very comfortable with what seem to be new beds. It would be better if the room had a microwave & refrigerator.

I¿ve never stayed at a state park, but it was an awesome first time experience. We are planning to go back in July and take our kids this time! Awesome scenery and plenty to do! Rooms were nicer than expected and staff all weekend were very friendly.

I would have been happier with this hotel had I not had the expectation that it would be a 3 star hotel. It was no where near that. And the mattress in the sofa bed was the worst that I had ever tried to sleep on. Springs were literally sticking up.
