- Shower would not get warm,Breakfast; juice machine didn't work, only 2 bagels left and one small glass of milk with 40 minutes left of breakfast time.
- I got scammed, I booked (for the first time) through booking.com. I had the confirmation in my hand, but this Days Inn by Wyndham Cave City, said there wasn't a reservation. He called his manager who said the same thing. But if I pay now, at a higher rate, I could stay, that the problem was with booking.com and I should follow up with them. I don't travel much and didn't want to be more stressed out, so I paid again. When I got back, I did follow up with booking.com, they asked for proof with receipts for all payments. They confirmed I had a legitimate complaint, they contacted the Days Inn, spoke to the manager who refused to refund. She said I cancelled it and there were no refunds. To clarify, I made one reservation for a smoking room and realized immediately the mistake and rebooked for a non smoking room, Booking.com sent me confirmations for both, the cancellation, and also for the new reservation, with unique numbers. Booking.com did their best to try get a refund for me. Lesson learned, never assume, I should have had them call booking.com and get it straighten out, right then and there.

Location is good if you are doing the fun stuff in cave city.
The pictures you have are not up to date. Even tho they say they have queen size beds this is a lie. All rooms have full size beds! No room for two grown adults to lay comfortably in a full size bed. We were moved twice before finally settling on a room with two full size beds to accommodate. Floor and Towels had blood stains on them?!?! And mold was on the ceiling of the shower. All in all the hotel looks run down but I can see that they are trying to make improvements and the person working there was very nice and tried to help the best he could.
