Makai Club Resort

Great location, good price, clean, met all our needs!

Nice people, very sweet. Gave us a cooler to use for the day, and provided ice.

The room was not good. Humidity was getting into the room and the floor was constantly slimy with moisture because of the humidity and air conditioning. Air smelled funny. And it didn't seem like the floor had been vaccumed.

Staff were friendly, efficient and helpfull

The size of the unit was much larger than expected. It was also very nice that the cottage was it's own building with no shared walls. The view of the golf course was beautiful.

The pool was not very good. Probably could use some updating.

The staff was excellent and the room was perfect.

The only thing is being on the third floor.

Other than the roosters ¿¿, everything was amazing.

The staff were very warm, attentive, and provided thoughtful service. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the surrounding environment was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. In the evenings, I could even hear the sound of the ocean outside the window, which made the stay especially enjoyable.

Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

It was spacious, quiet, and the apartment was in good shape.

While the ‘value’ was good, that only means relative to other properties. The prices in general on Kauai are high.

Had everything we needed. Staff were good with communication and helpful. Check in and check out was easy

The grounds are beautiful. But they also means you hear mowers a lot.

Clean and comfortable

Some footstep noise from unit above, thankfully not late at night. A/C control was a pain to shut off.

I love that we had our own apartment. Comfortable bed and a full kitchen. Shower had great water pressure. Beautiful grounds. Also the staff was very friendly

Location was nice but not a lot around. But very close to Foodland which is a big plus.

Great location and layout for the suite. Large and roomy rooms :)

Location and cleanliness

The room is very spacious and the price is reasonable.

The insulation is a disaster. The window is in very old style and could not be fully closed. There are MANY CHICKEN outside and they are crowing all night. The sound is so loud from 2am to 7am and we are waked by the rooster all the time.

Staff was wonderful — very kind and accommodating. We really appreciated the late checkout. Location was very convenient, just a short drive up from Hanalei.

We could hear people in room above us moving around.

No A/C , although, admittedly it wasn’t really needed… but some will want it

The condo was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed, including great kitchen supplies, a very comfy bed, lots of towels and a cooler. We were able to borrow beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and other equipment from the front desk, as well as games. The staff was very friendly and professional, and responded quickly to texts. The pool is a little smaller than the photos make it seem, but it was a perfect temp and a great spot to take a dip after a sweaty day. Very happy with our stay and would definitely come back!

The staff was so nice and helpful with any request we had. The size of the rooms were top tier, it felt nice to be separate from our friends in the 2 bed and 2 bath situation. The pool was nice and warm as well.

I know it’s a limitation of the buildings, but in August the 2 bedrooms really want AC. Luckily a cold shower cools us down!Because of the way the windows are set up for airflow, the roosters are really loud. And I mean loud, and at 3-5AM. Bring earplugs!

The Makai Club Resort was wonderful for our family! The cottage was large, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for a family of 5. The staff was wonderful. They were accommodating, friendly, and always available to help anyway possible. The grounds are manicured to perfection and the pool/bbq area were amazing.We will be back again! Thank you, Makai Club Resort!

Nothing to dislike here.

The staff was VERY helpful. The space was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Location was great for the things we did. Appreciated that they had beach chairs to use throughout the week. We did not use any of the following but if we had been there with our children and grandchildren were: Book, games and DVD's.

The couch cushions could use a bit of an upgrade.

I liked that the kitchen was well stocked and the grounds were nicely manicured and peaceful.

Quite a few cats around and the stairway to our unit had a cat smell.
