    Pros +

    • What a great place! Check in was a breeze. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The ranch is on the river and there are beautiful views.
    • Location and distance to Sequoia Natl Park of course; real friendly staff to me and my hubby who locked ourselves out, smiling and joking around as he handed us backup key; individual unit which provides more privacy and quietness. ¿
    • This hotel's location was its best feature being so close to the Sequoia National Park entrance. It was also nice that it had a sheep farm attached, tail to the river, and nice standalone cabins.

    Cons -

    • Only a bit frustrated with small water flow from shower head when shampooing long hair that really takes time, while body can feel cold¿
    • Liked everything about the hotel.
    • In the evening, presumably because many people were showering, the hot water was not a consistent temperature.

Very quiet. AC worked well. Staff. Wry helpful.

I enjoyed the open space concept of the motel. The layout was spacious and quaint. My daughter loved the goats and sheep.

We noticed that the bedding was dusty and my daughter ended up with an allergy attack, but we managed and it was a good stay. We definitely would stay again.

Nice surroundings, room and bathroom were good.

Breakfast was very basic. Even less than basic. Bring your own breakfast if possible.

The rooms were all 1 or 2 units to a building, which was nice. The grounds were beautiful, with lots of grass, flowers, etc., as well as sheep!

The breakfast was not great, even as a continental. There were several choices that required hot water, which was not provided; several juices, none of which were orange. They could do better with just a bit of improvement.

close to Sequoia park, free breakfast, fridge and microwave in the room, overall good experinece

smelly AC (change filters), and please change your detergents, because linens and towels have strong chemical smell, maybe do some updates to the room interior - change old arm-chairs and the hotel will be close to solid 3 stars.

    Small, old, lots of bugs.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-24-2016

The room was very spacious. The bed was comfy. There were plenty of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was very well lit and it has a make-up mirror. Had small breakfast offerings which were ok but pick-up hours were inconvenient.

The carpet was worn out. The dvd/vcr player was ancient. Had to ask how to get a movie to show up on the TV. The remotes were worn out too. Windows need room darkening curtains as the sunrise shines bright very early in the morning.

Nice location. The property was pretty and surprisingly quiet for being off the main road.
