Close to the National Park, breakfast included
The room was a nice size which met up with expectations. The location in proximity to the Sequoia National Park was excellent and a short easy drive to the entrance. There were plenty of small town type restaurants and shops (super cute town).

the owner/manager, made us feel extremely welcome, and treated us like family.
The location was fantastic; right near the park entrance and close enough to the river to hear it rushing. The staff was superb and friendly. Would love to check out the other cabins on a future trip.

Very convenient location for travel stop. There’s a nice restaurant nearby (good food +reasonable price). Supermarket, gas station, and fastfood restaurants are within 3-5 minutes distance. Room is very clean.
Conveniently located, pleasant smell across from orange groves, mostly clean and friendly.
The location! It was very close to Sequoia National Park (our destination), as well as a grocery store, gas station, and several eateries. The rooms were very spacious and clean as well.

I felt like I was getting a true mountain experience. I loved the shared outdoor kitchen and the heater worked really well. I was surprised how windy the road was, but the mountain vistas were amazing and the wildflowers all along the way were beautiful.

The shower was the best we've ever had at a hotel! Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices!
The older gentleman who checked me in was very friendly which is nice after a long day driving. The hotel is very clean and pretty immaculate overall. I am guessing it might be very new? The location is good to highway but no car noises were heard.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Service was wonderful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The oatmeal was on point, not lumpy like other places. The selection of juices was great. Comfy beds. No bothersome noice. This hotel was an excellent choice.

Top Tips
- Reserve your Three Rivers hotel 2 to 4 months ahead for summer (June-August) and October stays, as prices rise 40-50% during these peak Sequoia National Park periods. For quieter surroundings, compare properties south of CA-198; certain chains may offer loyalty discounts outside busy weekends.
- Budget for 12-15% in combined state sales and local occupancy taxes on your hotel stay, in addition to the $35 (approx.) park entrance fee. Ask if daily resort or parking fees apply, since some chains include these for loyalty members.
- Properties within 5-10 minutes of Sequoia National Park’s entrance in central Three Rivers cut your drive by 15-25 minutes and may lower local crime risk by up to 30%. Nearby chain hotels often feature security cameras or gated parking; ask about onsite safety amenities if arriving late.
- Average rural Wi-Fi is 5-15 Mbps, around 30-50% slower than urban California speeds, so video calls may lag. For essential work, check if a wired connection or business center is available, as some larger hotels offer these options.
- Bear-resistant storage is required in this area, with 60-70% of lodges supplying bear boxes and fines for improper food storage up to $500. Chain hotels typically provide secured trash disposal; confirm locations at check-in to help protect local wildlife.
- Request an accessible room with step-free or ramp access 1 to 2 months before arrival since only 15-25% of area hotels offer them due to terrain. Many chains reserve accessible rooms in advance; call to verify details such as roll-in showers or visual alarms.
- Rooms without air conditioning can reach 10-15°F above outdoor summer highs of 90-100°F (32-38°C). Ask about available portable fans, blackout shades, or pool hours to help keep cool during hotter periods.
- Use cashless payment options to avoid ATM fees of $3-5 and 2-3% foreign currency conversion charges; credit cards are widely accepted by local hotels. Major chains often support digital wallets or express check-out when you reserve.
