Valley Inn San Jose

I enjoy small independently owned motel/hotel properties that have uniquiness, instead of chains that are always the same. I am glad I discovered Valley Inn. Proprietor was very welcoming and attentive. Room clean enough to do surgery! Will stay again.

Parking in front of the door to our room. The staff was very friendly and cared about us. The bathroom was handicapped accessible and was excellent. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for our needs.

It was a little further from our kids than we expected but it was fine in the end.

Bed was comfortable. Had hbo

No breakfast. No coffee maker in room. Maid did not clean or bring towels. . No ice in ice machine. Door to bathroom was broken. Would not stay closed or lock.crappy furniture and decor. WAY too expensive! Do you even look at the properties? Bad!!!

Gave us a non-smoking room despite accidentally booking a smoking one. Very clean! Comfortable beds! Most of the furnishings looked brand new! Liked the liquid soaps and shampoo dispensers that were installed.

Tub was very old and unsightly and hard to get into because of steepness of sides. TV had to be reset each time I turned it on.

I was unhappy with the room and tried to cancel and the desk person told me I wouldn’t be refunded. I was only in the room 20 minutes. I left to book another room elsewhere.

It was quiet, and close to the area I needed to be! The room was clean and amenities were on hand if needed

The area was nice, it was close to SAP Center and Sharks Ice/ Tech C U Arena, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy

the room stunk like some kind of funk .... bathtub had cigarette burns into the top edge, half a dozen and the caulcking around the tub was black, blue and some white ... bath towels were so small and worn out thin it took 3 to dry off ... I did not dare to sleep in the bed ......@#$%^&*()

Not very clean, heater did not work, not enough towels for 2 females. Log on to internet was long list of numbers, had to be written down.

I got a non smoking room you could not open the window because it smelled like a biker bar outside from smoker under us the manager was rude the bathroom door did not shut the air conditioner did not work and all you hear was birds because they had a room full of birds.

Terrible.
