Aloft by Marriott San Jose Cupertino

The staff was very helpful and kind.

Two things, unfortunately the hotel looks like maybe a best western was bought and rooms were remodeled but this does not look like any Alofts we have stayed at before. Honestly part of choosing Aloft is for the modern experience but this is not it.

Room is modern, clean and spacious. Hotel location is within walking distance to restaurants and Japanese supermarket. Staff are friendly especially Fung who was very accommodating when we needed a later checkout.

Front desk staff was wonderful. the bartender in the XYZ lounge was very friendly

The A/C did not work so the room felt like it was 90 degrees

1. Not the room we paid for 2. Incorrect assurance given by staff about spare bed - not even a child can sleep on it, it is absolutely terrible 3. Checkin took over 30 min. 4. Staff were indifferent to requests, had to call 3 times 5. Traffic noise

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. The guests in the next room fought all nights breaking bottles. Throwing things. Kicking their door. Slamming thier door. Screaming. At one point I got on my floor because I bought I heard a gunshot.

I called the front desk but they only came upstairs and told them to be quiet. They did not be quiet. This went on until 4am. Then in the morning, The room shook. I thought it was an earthquake. It was the laundry room right below me. The washers shake.

Early morning noise from staff that where cleaning the rooms and you can hear them in the lobby talking loud

-. It wasn't a good value for the price I paid.

Early Saturday morning, there was a loud beeping sound in the hallway that continued for a long time. After a couple minutes, it sounded like hotel staff showed up to try to stop the beeping, but it continued. I didn't get much sleep that night.

Clean and professional looking establishment. Comfortable bed. Nice décor in room. Free parking.

View out the window was into back parking lot looking at empty storage containers.

The location was great. Easy access to freeway. Stylish decor. Friendly staff.

The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The padding on the mattress was so thin that the springs would stick in your body. We used extra comforters to pad the mattress, and it was our kid that was sleeping there, so it worked. Would not have worked.

Walk in showers, and easy and free parking.

Mold in shower, 1st floor was very noisy, and two washclothes per day for 2 people is never enough. No carpet in rooms is great until folks above you wake up. The hotel should not be rated 3.5 stars. It is a solid 3 stars and adequate for a night or two.

I wish we could have the rooms closer to each other, we were on two different levels.

it was very quiet for being in the city. Also, I LOVED the blackout shades there, which were instead of curtains. Very nice not to have streetlights shining in to the room!

No free continental breakfast. No microwave in the room. (A hot water on demand thing would be much better than a lukewarm carafe of water--could not make tea with that.)

The room was dirty and also the automated screen did not work and the front desk person did not help at all. All he said was he doesnt know anything. I called customer service and they just referred me to him and I couldn’t sleep because I felt unsaf

Location is great and parking is free!

The San Jose water quality is horrible. The water is very hard - this is a common issue for any San Jose water customer. It would be great if a filtering system could be installed in-line, but I understand this might be very cost prohibitive.

The room was nice and clean.

The lady who checked me in didn't explain anything she did with my debit card which she double charged me and I had to question it before she said anything.

Hallway lighting. Cleanliness.

High price for Breakfast.
