Beautiful vineyard views and the redwoods around the property

The AC is intentionally not functional with a note to open the windows and ?enjoy nature?s AC?, which works fine at night, but the room got too stuffy during the day in August. Let me turn on that AC!

Location is perfect!

Getting hold of the staff was somewhat difficult but they were incredibly helpful and very hospitable and welcoming. Seems they were very short staffed and worked limited hours due to covid so hopefully that will only improve.

The fan in the bathroom took forever to turn on. The curtain for the shower kept falling off the wall.

We had to change our dates due to the weather and power outage. The staff not only accommodated us, but we're kind enough to let my parents get an early check in. It was a busy holiday weekend, so their thoughtfulness was truly appreciated.The hotel is lovely, with well maintained grounds and beautifully appointed rooms. I would happily have family stay there again.Thank you everyone at West Sonoma Inn for taking such good care of my family.

There was nothing to dislike. Only 1 small issue with the control to the heater in 1 room. The staff took care of it immediately. Just needed new batteries.Truthfully, given the storm that raged through our area only 2 days b4 check in, the staff did a remarkable job getting the storm debris cleaned up outside. My family were very pleased with their rooms and quite comfortable.

It was fine for what it is.

the pet rules could have been more clear up front. I called the reservation # to specifically ask about a pet friendly room, they gave me the wrong information. I got the right information when I called the property directly, but the upgrade to the pet friendly room was not expected (although paying extra for the pet was).

The location was excellent - close to town and beautiful view of vineyard.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of parking and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort.The spa treatments with Dorothy and Jyoti were incredible, truly a highlight. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to Main Street for coffee, happy hour, and fun local shops.A perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and relaxation. Highly recommend!

We could only stay one night, sadly.

The location is stunning, absolutely an idelic retreat.I really enjoyed having a morning coffee outside on the balcony looking at the mountain backdrop with all the trees peering through the fog. It was incredibly peaceful, and quiet. Easy to walk from and get to and from the main part of town.

The doors were difficult to open, close, and lock. The Bathroom door didn't close at all I think there was something wrong with the latch mechanism. The bed was a bit to springy and wiggly for my taste (beds are so subjective to comfort, and it wasnt uncomfortable just moved a lot when someone rolled over and I am a light sleeper) The soundproofing between floors could be better, a bit lous when people were walking but especially when anyone flushed the toilet.

Proximity to all of Guerneville.

A rug by the door and a table with chairs in the kitchenette were all needed.

Internet somewhat slow.

It was cute and perfectly located in town. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

They canceled my reservation without my consent. They had a whole year to notify me, but they canceled within one week of my stay. I had a tremendous amount of stress trying to find another hotel. After telling me they canceled my reservation, they told me they had a room available, but it would cost 3x more than my original reservation. The ownership here lacks a tremendous amount of honor, especially during a week that's rooted in charity and benefiting the community. Shame on them and their level of greed. Don't trust them with your time and money.

Nice location

Overpriced. Not a resort as marketed. AC, exhaust fan, and TV did not work. Also, they had our booking dates incorrectly. Pool fairly old, semi dirty, and you could feel the gunite bubbling up as you walked on it.
