Spacious room with many modern touches. The bar/restaurant on site was great and the convenience store had a good selection. As a solo traveler, I didnt use the games like pool and foosball but they were also a nice touch. The airport shuttle was easy

Charging for airport shuttle service. Bathroom sliding door was all glass, allowed light into bedroom while in use and was hard to slide open or close. Walkway to our room was down a dark hallway, with very dark stairs that concerned us a a safety hazard.
When we have booked, shuttle and parking were declared free of charge. However we had to pay 11 and 57¿. Moreover, restaurant stewart didn't accept to serve tap water

This hotel exceeded every expectation! I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff. They called a restaurant for me in order to help me get a last minute table, gave me directions, sightseeing advise, etc. It was a pleasure interacting with them.

Top Tips
- Book early to secure lower rates. Hotels near Brussels Airport fill quickly during EU events and conferences. Booking 2-3 months ahead can save 20-30% vs last-minute rates. Check event calendars for major dates, such as EU Summits or Art Brussels, if your travel is flexible.
- Ask if your hotel offers a free airport shuttle, with most running every 15-30 minutes. Confirm the schedule and pick-up point before arrival, as some shuttles require advance reservation or operate only at peak hours. If you need step-free or accessible transportation, request accessible options.
- Expect a nightly city tax (taxe de séjour) of approx. $15 USD (€14) per room, paid at check-in or check-out. Present valid photo ID (passport or national ID card) for all guests. Some hotels may accept payment only by card or in local currency, so have your preferred payment method ready.
- Request a room with soundproofing or on the courtyard side if sensitive to noise, as airport proximity means some rooms may face runway activity. Review recent guest feedback for noise mention. If you need an accessible room, ask if these are located in quieter areas.
- The airport connects by train to Brussels city center in about 15-20 minutes, with English signage at the station and ticket offices. Ask the hotel desk for route planning or details on family/group ticket discounts.
- If you have an early flight, check if breakfast is available from 4:00 AM or if the hotel offers grab-and-go options. Notify the hotel in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions with your breakfast request, as some early morning services may be limited or carry an extra charge.
- Secure luggage storage is available in most hotels for early arrivals or late departures. Clarify storage hours and policies at check-in, since they may differ by property. For valuables, use in-room safes to protect items like passports and electronics.
- Tipping is not required in Belgium since service charges are usually included. Rounding up or leaving $1-2 USD (€1-2) in cash is appreciated for good service, and 5-10% (about $2-4 USD (€2-4) on a $22 USD (€20) meal) for exceptional service in restaurants. Cash is preferred for small gratuities.
- Choose hotels with flexible cancellation policies to adjust plans up to 24 hours before arrival. If seeking additional savings, ask about non-refundable options, but review restrictions in advance.
- If you have a long layover, many airport hotels offer day-use rates for a few hours’ rest without booking an overnight stay. Ask which amenities, such as shower or workspace access, are included with a day-use room.
- Bring a Type E adapter for Belgium’s 230V power outlets. Major hotel chains may have a few adapters at reception, but supply is limited, so packing your own ensures access for your devices.
- Hotel staff at Brussels Airport typically speak English, French, and Dutch. Ask for recommendations on Belgian specialties like beer tastings or details about attractions such as the Atomium. If you have accessibility requirements, request information about accessible tours or attractions.
