Close to everything and good price.
provide kettle to boil water for us... Provide drinking water and state-of-art coffee machine in the entrance room. Although the hotel is very close to the railway, but the window is sound-proof so it's very quiet.
The water coolers, hot tub and pool were nice touches. The room was spacious albeit a bit empty. Housekeeping was on demand and this was mentioned to us when we checked in, we had no issues asking for extra soap, or towels. The bed was comfortable.

A very good location to visit the Canadian Rockies and the Banff/Jasper parks. Blackstone is a modern well appointed apartment-hotel with great amenities for family activities. The underground parking was easily accessed and helped with moving luggage.
Nice amenities, but the pool closed way too early.

The room was well appointed for the price. It was clean. Pool was warm and hot tub was hot. This was beginning of Feb. Front desk was efficient and friendly. Questions were warmly received and answered immediately.
Just enough out of they way to miss the people congestion but close enough to get to everything quickly. I enjoyed the private underground parking because we had some heavy snow a couple of nights. I recommend and would stay at Stoneridge again.
Underground parking is helpful during blizzards. Short drive or long walk to restaurants. Its a typical condo. Better than a hotel room, but not your home. Gas fireplace is nice. Mattresses are satisfactory. Coffee, cream, sugar and filters all provided.

The hotel was in a good location, at the end of the downtown area. Easily walkable. When our refrigerator wasn¿t working, staff responded quickly and were very helpful. Had a nice view of the mountains, hot tub was relaxing. Close to amenities (laundry).

Top Tips
- Book 60-90 days ahead for July-August and December 20-January 5 to secure availability and avoid higher last-minute rates. These periods are peak travel windows due to area festivals and winter holidays. Confirm cancellation policy before purchase, especially for stays in these high-demand periods.
- Allow 75-90 minutes to drive the 100-110 km from Calgary Airport (YYC) to Canmore. Add 30-60 minutes for winter or holiday traffic. Rental cars and rideshares are available at YYC; consider booking ahead during holidays to guarantee your preferred vehicle.
- Canmore is 20 km (about 25-30 minutes by car) from Banff. Discover cost savings by comparing the cost and schedule of Roam Transit public buses against hotel parking and driving. Frequent Banff visitors may prefer accommodations with included shuttle service or public transit proximity.
- Canmore’s downtown hotels experience peak parking demand. Confirm in writing if on-site, reserved, or accessible parking is available to avoid curbside search or unexpected fees, especially during summer weekends or festivals.
- From May-October, local wildlife, including bears, can be active near hotels. Follow all posted hotel guidelines on food and garbage storage; properties may require using secure lockers and may charge for non-compliance. Discover local wildlife through guided tours rather than attempting personal encounters.
- Many Canmore accommodations are low-rise and may lack elevators. Request step-free or ramp access in advance for accessible room needs, and confirm visual alarms or other accessibility features if required.
- Planning a remote-work stay? Confirm wired (Ethernet) and Wi-Fi availability before booking. Request a recent speed test or documentation if strong upload/download speeds (above 20 Mbps) are critical for your needs.
- Confirm the total price, including full room rate, taxes, and all mandatory fees in CAD, before purchase, as local taxes and service charges vary by property. Request a detailed breakdown if any charges are unclear.
