It wasn't busy!! I loved staying in Rincon! And this hotel was great. It didn't break the bank. There wasn't a ton of kids running around so nice and relaxing! The pool and swim up bar was great and steps away from the beach.
Location is great. Pool area is also great with beautiful views. Friendly staff and very attentive.

The room nice and cool
The pictures in the profile is false advertising, the rooms I saw in the pictures is what intrigued me, the beach view picture is false, the the city view is false, I had a view of solar panels, back alley and construction that woke me up at 7am.
The location was great! A lot of restaurants nearby and the staff was really nice.

The pictures do not do this place justice. This is not a golf resort - it is a lovers resort. If you are looking for the perfect lovers getaway, honeymoon, or for us - celebrating engagement - this is the best hotel! Thank you for the best trip of my life

The food at the restaurant was very good and the amenities are simple but nice.
I thought the location will be better. over priced for the rooms and this type of resort. If there is a wedding you cant go to the restaurant or the bar which sucks because is the onlything to do at this resort. Also they hold a very high security deposit

Top Tips
- Book hotel rooms 2-4 months in advance for Aguadilla’s peak winter season (December-April). Rates typically surge 20-40% closer to stay dates, especially during events such as the Rincon Surf Festival. Early reservations help secure your preferred amenities and room types.
- Plan for an 11.5% room tax plus added fees (7-11%), raising nightly costs by $15 to $20 at mid-range hotels. Some government-affiliated eco-hotels may offer tax exemptions, so ask staff before booking if you’re seeking sustainable accommodations.
- Choose hotels with backup generators, as Aguadilla sees 5-15 days of outages monthly in rainy months that can affect air conditioning and hot water. Confirm generator coverage with the property to ensure 80-90% uptime for essentials.
- Withdraw cash from in-hotel ATMs with card readers to minimize skimming risks, as incidents rise by 15% during high season. Hotel ATMs often follow stricter security protocols for safer USD withdrawals, but ATM fees may vary, so check with your bank or card provider.
- Request step-free or ramp access when booking, since only 40-50% of Aguadilla hotels offer elevators or ramps. Contact hotel staff or check official sites to verify accessible room availability and features such as visual alarms or non-step access for guests with mobility aids.
- Verify advertised Wi-Fi speeds above 50 Mbps if you plan to work remotely. Most Aguadilla hotels provide 50-70 Mbps, but signal may drop 10-20% during storms, so look for properties with fiber connections for added reliability.
- Book accommodations within 2-3 miles of Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) for under 15-minute transfers. This gives you fast access to Crashboat Beach and eases flight-day commutes.
- Renting a car is recommended due to limited public transit in western Puerto Rico. The drive from Aguadilla to Rincón takes 20-30 minutes (15-25 km), expanding your choices for beaches and restaurant options.
- Confirm hotels’ backup power capabilities and ask whether full air conditioning or only essential circuits are supported. This is especially important if you need uninterrupted electricity for work or medical devices during post-storm outages.
- Carry $20 to $60 in small USD bills for local expenses, as some guesthouses, beach shacks, and taxis may not accept cards even though most hotels and restaurants do.
- Confirm specific accessibility features when reserving ADA-compliant rooms, such as roll-in showers and minimum door widths. Many older inns or vacation condos may not provide step-free access or visual alarms despite standards; request room photos or detailed descriptions if you have specific requirements.
- Follow U.S. tipping customs: 15-20% at restaurants and $1 to $3 per bag for bell staff. Large resorts may pre-apply service charges, so double-check your receipt before tipping additionally.
- For standard rooms in high season (mid-December through mid-April), book 30-60 days ahead. Lock in holiday stays for Christmas or New Year 2-3 months out to avoid rate jumps and limited selection.
- Ask hotels to provide recent Wi-Fi speed test screenshots to confirm download and upload rates for work calls. Speeds and reliability may fluctuate at smaller properties.
