Location, quiet, very roomy unit, breakfast included
We had a beautiful presidential suite. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was nice that breakfast was included. There is no restaurant and bar as shown in many of the pictures. I guess there was at some point but now it’s only used for breakfast.

This hotel is located in a great location. Our room was large and could sleep our family of 5 well. The pool deck area was perfect for our three children. The breakfast every morning was also great for our family.

Loved the hot tub, pool, nice breakfast area and beautiful patio.
What we loved the best is the spacious room, and it came with a vinyl floor, which is good for keeping it clean. Plus, the location is the best, 1 minute walk to the restaurants, 2 minutes to the gift shops, and it is next to a Gas station.
With parking at a premium, I was happy to see they integrated parking into the design of the property.

Top Tips
- Book Moab hotels at least 3-6 months in advance for peak travel periods like March-May wildflowers or September-October fall colors. Rates often increase by up to 30% and rooms regularly sell out early, so comparing properties in advance secures both pricing and availability during these high-demand times.
- Select hotels according to your plans: central Moab puts you within 0.5 miles of most dining and services, while hotels 5-15 minutes from Arches National Park or 30-45 minutes from Canyonlands Island in the Sky can reduce drive times to trailheads and provide quieter nights. Check the hotel's address and expected drive times to main attractions before booking.
- Confirm parking arrangements with the hotel, especially if you will bring a trailer, truck, or off-road vehicle. Most Moab hotels include one free parking spot per room, but spaces for oversized vehicles or trailers may be limited. Contact the property in advance to verify they can accommodate your vehicle type.
- Arches and Canyonlands National Parks often use timed-entry permits or temporarily close parking lots during peak visit hours. Check the latest access rules at the National Park Service website, and plan to arrive before 8:00 AM or after 3:00 PM with your park pass to avoid delays.
- Always confirm essential amenities like strong Wi-Fi, air conditioning (especially May-September), and on-site laundry before booking. Pool hours often vary by season, and not every room will have a kitchenette or refrigerator, so verify those details directly with the property if important for your stay.
- Moab’s desert climate features temperature swings of up to 30°F (17°C) daily. Pack layers and ask if rooms come with extra blankets or adjustable heating or cooling options. You can also request a fan or portable heater if needed.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for booking for hotel check-in. Standard gratuity for housekeeping is $2-$5 per night, and most restaurants expect a 15-20% tip. Review posted ID and payment requirements prior to arrival to prevent surprises.
- Ask the property about pet policies and fees upfront. Many Moab hotels permit pets for a non-refundable $15 fee, and leash rules are common in public areas. Clarify cleaning requirements and any restricted pet areas before confirming your reservation.
- Desert conditions require planning: each person should carry at least 2 liters of water, plus sunscreen and a wide-brim hat for trail safety. Consult your hotel’s front desk about current trail or road advisories, and ask for directions to the nearest urgent care clinic; most are within a 10-minute drive in Moab.
- Request a room away from busy streets, pool areas, or ATV lots for quieter sleep, or ask for 'park' or 'mountain view' rooms or top-floor accommodations for the best views. Preferred locations often book up early, so verify room placement when you reserve.
- Expect lodging and resort taxes to add 12-15% to your room rate, plus possible resort fees at select properties. Confirm the total nightly charges and review the cancellation policy before finalizing your reservation to avoid unexpected costs.
- Many licensed Moab outfitters offer hotel pickup for jeep tours, rafting, or guided hikes. Book through your hotel for ease, and ask the front desk to recommend reputable operators with current schedules for your preferred activities.
- Moab’s red dust is difficult to avoid, so pack extra socks, wipes, and a dedicated bag for dirty shoes or gear. Ask if your hotel provides a gear wash area or vehicle vacuum to help clean up after outdoor adventures.
- Solo travelers should prioritize hotels near downtown (within 0.5 miles of Center St) that feature a 24-hour front desk and well-lit surroundings for safety. Consider asking about social activities or optional group hotel events for added engagement.
- For families, choose rooms with kitchenettes, on-site laundry, and a pool (generally open April-October). Request cribs or rollaway beds in advance, and confirm the availability of children's menu options or safety features if near busy roads.
- Business travelers should confirm rooms include a desk, reliable Wi-Fi speeds of at least 25 Mbps, and available meeting spaces. Mobile coverage can be inconsistent outside central Moab, so check if the hotel offers a business center or wired internet access.
- Have your photo ID ready for check-in, and carry proof of age if purchasing alcohol, as the legal age is 21+ in Utah. Check the hotel’s website for current health protocols before arrival, and always pack essential medications and a basic first-aid kit if planning outdoor activities.
- Moab’s culture is activity-focused and casual. Dress comfortably, follow Leave No Trace principles outdoors, and respect quiet hours in your hotel, usually 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Do not remove rocks or cultural artifacts from parks or local lands.
- Most hotels will store luggage before check-in or after check-out at no extra cost, allowing you more time in the parks. Confirm with the front desk for storage policies and available hours.
- For peace and privacy, compare boutique inns, vacation rentals, or cabins located 2-5 miles outside downtown Moab. For convenience, larger hotels and resorts within city limits offer a broader range of amenities like pools, fitness centers, and group spaces, so compare services directly when choosing.
