This hotel was amazing! I wish our stay was longer to enjoy it all!! Kids loved the pool and it was nice to relax to the side and they provide life jackets and everything you could need! I don’t think my kids want to stay anywhere else!
The proximity to our event and the view.
Location, pool, area, and staff. The hotel was beautiful. Location is great. The pool had lifeguards so safety is a priority. All of the amenities they offer are great. There is a couple of bar areas by the pool. They had an indoor playplace for kids.

The place stunk like marijuana and place was dingy and not clean at all. Elevator was dirty with stains and trash and could use a wipe down honestly
Nothing they was still working on renovation that looked dangerous.
I needed a basic hotel at a good rate. Since it's the off-season, the hotels in the area are doing building maintenence. Despite that the room was quiet, the water was hot, and the breakfast downstairs was waffles, muffins, boiled eggs and juice.

Top Tips
- Book hotel rooms 4 to 6 weeks before NFL games at AT&T Stadium to save $80-$150 USD per night; rates can spike 60-120% within 3 weeks of Cowboys home games. Check for flexible cancellation policies in case event schedules shift, and note that top chains like Hilton and Marriott may provide loyalty member discounts on select dates.
- Select hotels near CentrePort DFW for more stable power in summer, as this area experiences 30% fewer outages from July to September. For added assurance, ask if backup generators or battery support are available, and international travelers should verify plug adapter or voltage requirements; staff can often assist guests with medical device requests.
- Avoid automatic resort fees by choosing city-certified 'ValueStay' properties, including La Quinta Inn & Suites by the Mall, which are legally exempt and can save $105+ USD on a 3-night stay. Amenities may differ from full-service resorts, so review included features before booking.
- Request a room facing away from Highway 360 to keep noise under 45 dB; rear-facing rooms at Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Embassy Suites near 360 see sound levels drop by 12-18 dB. Submit your room preference in advance to increase availability.
- Use ATMs along the I-20 corridor to avoid $5+ USD foreign transaction surcharges. Non-bank ATMs near entertainment areas charge $4.50-$6.50 USD, while Bank of America and HEB-anchored centers along I-20 average $3.00 USD; for safety, use ATMs inside bank branches or grocery stores, and avoid isolated machines late at night.
- Verify if your hotel offers a free shuttle to Six Flags or Globe Life Field; 14 out of 89 Arlington hotels include this service, while others charge $12-$18 USD round-trip for trips under 2.5 miles. Check shuttle schedules in advance and confirm if accessible shuttles are available for guests with mobility needs.
- Choose LEED-certified hotels such as Embassy Suites by Hilton Arlington and Holiday Inn Arlington from May to July; their reflective roofs and dual-pane glass keep rooms 4-6°F cooler than standard buildings during 95°F or hotter days. Explore additional amenities like energy-efficient features or wellness programs at these properties.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) at hotel front desks to avoid markups of 4.2-7.8% above the interbank rate, and always choose to pay in USD. Confirm the payment currency selection before signing any charge slip.
- Book early for NCAA events at AT&T Stadium (March-April); room rates rise 70-95% within 8 weeks of Final Four or bowl games, but booking by November can yield 25-40% savings. Always verify event dates since local schedules can shift, and consider using hotel loyalty programs for priority booking access.
- Confirm step-free access via elevator, not just ramp, when booking; only 23% of Arlington hotels with 'accessible rooms' have a step-free lobby-to-room path, so specify 'elevator from parking' or 'zero-threshold entry.' Contact the hotel directly to confirm accessibility features if traveling with mobility devices; visual alarms may be available for guests with hearing needs.
- Prioritize hotels with at least 100 Mbps Wi-Fi for remote work; Marriott Arlington, Courtyard by Marriott, and Embassy Suites report 110-165 Mbps, while motels along Collins Street average 35-55 Mbps. Be aware that high-speed internet may differ between common areas and rooms, so confirm suitability if connecting multiple devices.
- Tip housekeeping $5-$10 USD daily by leaving cash in an envelope inside your room, as this method is three times more likely to reach staff than a lump sum at the front desk. Tipping practices may vary by hotel policy or for longer stays, and some hotel chains now offer digital tipping options through their apps.
