good breakfast, TV worked, 3 blocks to the Adriatic and a free access to a town sponsored beach3 blocks north

The free beach (town beach) was used on a gray and later rainy day. It was after the season and the conccesion ( if there was one ) was closed so there was no where to go to the toilet except 2 blocks away at the Mac Donalds. Sand was brown and very fine grained. There is some exercise equipment and some young men are working out there.

We were delighted at the breakfast. The breakfast room has a lovely, bright layout, and the hot and cold food options were plentiful and very high quality. The hotel location is handy to the train station, and also about one minute from the start of the pedestrian shopping (and cafe/pub) area. Our room was a bit dated, and some modern tweaks would have been nice, but it was spotlessly clean, and the wifi was good, and there was plenty of hot water.

Some might feel that the adjacent neighbourhood is gritty, but we did not have a problem at all. The room decor, as stated above, is rather dated and the walls could use a new coat of paint. That said, given the strengths and value of the Phi Ambra, I would gladly stay here again.

Parking, parking, parking. Very difficult access through narrow streets. Even loading or offloading parking spot not available.Poor english,Beds not comfortable.Stuff didn't assist me in searching for the parking for my car. Not even high level, general map of the area with mark-up parking options.Receptionist just didn't care - it was my problem. New to the city, late in the evening, and it was raining really bad.

The location of the hotel is great - it is right in the city centre with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is also only about a 5-minute walk from the beach. The room was quite big and was clean and comfortable enough for what we needed. The hotel staff (especially the ladies who served breakfast) were friendly and welcoming.

I thought the room (including the bathroom) could do with some updating as it seemed quite old-fashioned. The breakfast room was also quite small so we had to wait to be seated on both mornings we were there.

Facilities is very good in general, on an excellent location in the city center, near to train and bus station, in a quiet area, with lot of good restaurants, bars and shops around, not so far from the beach. Very clean and optimally comfortable with pleasant staff.

You get what you pay for. The room is very small. The beds are not super comfortable. The TV is not smart, and the breakfast is an added fee. Could use a remodel but is perfectly safe if budget is your most important checklist item.

Person at reception was very stiff. He could be more smiling and cordial. Though the morning shift staff was very helpful and amicable.

The location is great as it is near the train station and there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The price was excellent value for money and a lovely continental breakfast ( including croissants,, cakes, pastries, fresh fruit,, bread rolls, cheese, cooked meats etc.)was included in the price. Also, the room was cleaned each day. There is a small bar in the hotel which is convenient for a beer, wine or coffee/tea...

Good location close to the beach

No soundproofed. Merry customers woke me up 2:30 AM speaking loudly outside my room. After 3 AM the garbage trucks wey comming

Friendly staff. Made to feel very safe as a soli female traveller. Excellent breakfast.

Location to Beach and restaurants

Parking an issue and not explained well when bookingRoom with single beds even though we asked for a double. Shower screen was make shift and didn't work.Shower rose was attached and loose and hard to use. Had to observe a lady out the front urinating in public. Website picturaly oversells the hotel. Not true in advertising.

It was close to the station, the center and the beach. The breakfasts was quite good. Bed was comfortable. They let us leave our luggage in the hotel after our check out.
