Some of the staff were miserable.

Food at the buffet was decent, location has great view and a serene ambience, as we visited off season.

The rooms have clear low tier materials employed, with fake wood cabinetry, cold pavement and cheap linens. The restaurants ar the location were all worse than the buffet, which was quite surprising. At the Italian restaurant we got served bresaola with pureed tuna under it as vitello tonnato (which is actually roast beef coated in a creamy tuna sauce), just to name the most blatant example. The village nearby is very fake and touristy, lacking the charm of other localities on the island.

I like the restaurants ginger and la graciosa. It’s a must when you stay. Sadly didn’t try out the Mediterranean place. Italian restaurant was good too. The dinner buffet has good options. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. If you’re a young couple, there are some great activities. Just don’t expect music by the pool or much louder scene

We didn’t like some of the breakfast Buffett items because they were cold. The omelette would get cold quickly for example. I didn’t think some of the staff would pick up the plates fast enough or ask if we needed anything. For the other sit downs, we got better service. there’s a lot of older crowd, no music in the pool area. Pool bar but you have to go grab your drinks. Not much of a bar at beach. Def don’t stay here for beach access.

Buffet was poor- no customer omelettes at breakfast, food wasn’t labelled properly, majority of the food was cold, same food each day (no themed nights), not ideal for a solo traveller as all guests were in couples or groups,

My only gripe was the pool. I like to swim every day but the pool temperature was unbearably cold so I was unable to do so. Also was disappointed to find there was an extra charge to use the spa facilities

Great hotel , amazing sea views for most rooms . Good selection of food , not always hot which could be improved . Nice gym facility, spa and pool area and a lovely stroll into town along the sea front if you fancy look around . The staff were professional and friendly and always on hand for drinks and snacks , we did go in low season though . There is only one bar in the evening with live music , so if you fancy a quiet drink you are a little bit stuck , the first time that I have really watched the entertainment and in all honesty it was quite good .

There is a lovely looking little Lebanese restaurant , unfortunately the food was atrocious , if the hotel can’t fix that ! then maybe turn it into a little piano bar .

Everything was very good, especially the location.The food was always fresh and varied.

A shame this wonderful all-inclusive hotel doesn’t offer a rate for non-drinkers of alcohol.

Mixed ability to deal with food intolerance. If you’ve explained in advance that you’re dairy free you do expect there to have been an alternative to the cheese course on the menu.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Food was great and we would go back. We had a little problem but the front desk fixed it quickly for us. Highly recommended.

The beach in front has rocks when you go in the water. The town itself is not all that. But if you just stay in the hotel, you have all you need. The pool is chilly..

Staff very helpful, beautiful location

Few things could have made it better1. The pool is not heated and the water was very cold2. There are no hotel sun loungers on the beach so you need to pay a separate company3. The restaurants were very popular and difficult to make a reservation

Reserve area 100% worth the upgrade but it created a bit of a "them and us" environment. Would have preferred the whole hotel to be at the same standard as the Reserve as there is such an obvious difference between the two offerings, that you end up only spending time in the Reserve areas, which can feel limiting if there for longer than a few days.

Food on offer in the buffet for dinner is not up to standard so I ate out of the hotel or at the other restaurant options. Not a 5* hotel. It's more like a 4* in general, but buffer dinner was 3*.

Nice hotel, our room was in a good location, nice and quiet with a sea view. We were offered an upgrade on arriving however, we decided to view our current allocated room before making a decision, which we felt that there was no need to take the upgrade. The bed in our room was extra large and very comfortable. The staff around the hotel were all friendly & helpful. Another bonus was, there's plenty of sun beds available around the pool area, there was never no need to have to reserve them, which is a pet hate of mine! Breakfast in the main dining area was good. We had a meal in the Italian restaurant & in the Lebanese both were alright. In all a nice pleasant week stay.

Improvements in the main buffet area need to be made in my opinion, lunch and dinner is pretty much the same food, so it gets very repetitive and boring quite quickly, we chose to eat outside of the hotel for our evening meals on a few occasions. I would recommend the hotel to maybe introduce some themed meal nights in the buffet area, Mexican, Indian, Italian etc and maybe put a fresh cook station in place so people have an opportunity to ask for something a little more personalised, even if this option was only available on an evening. Also, I found some of the food poorly labelled or not labelled at all, sometimes you had to just guess what was in it. The sun beds around the main pool are uncomfortable and have no cushioning, however in the Reserve side of the hotel the beds are all cushioned, this would be a nice touch for all guests. The main pool online states that it is heated, it certainly is not heated, it is absolutely freezing to get into which is a real shame as I think more people would have used the pool if it was heated.

Everything was great! A lovely hotel, really beautiful and refreshing pool. Great food and drinks. Comfortable room with fantastic sunrise view. Very relaxing overall.Also, the gym has good equipment, especially for weightlifting, compared to many other hotels.

The restaurants are often fully booked and the experience in them is a bit rushed to make space for the next guests

Everything- the staff primarily, food, amenities and quality quality quality. Italian, Middle Eastern, buffet if you preferred a wide choice or the Canadian restaurant with its absolutely superb dinner ensemble.My favourite is the Reserve Pool bar and the wonderful staff there who made terrific cocktails and great lunches too with flair and good humour- thank you!Our friendly ambassador Anica was very helpful as was Veronica whom we saw previously in May (our second time in a year).

Are you kidding? Ok the lack of English tv stations is ridiculous- come on, I can get multiple channels on my computer so please sort this out Meliá hotels! There’s this thing called the internet…….

The pool was incredibly cold, apparently as its fresh water this meant it was cooler than your average unheated poolThe pool looked like it could do with some TLC , cracking around the entrance We ate in one of the themed restaurants bur the food was awful, this put us off trying any further restaurants and we stuck to the buffetThe cocktails at the pool bar were great but quite often only one man working the bar and if you get stuck behind people ordering a variety of cocktails you can be waiting a while!There was a slight smell of drains in the room and an over powering air freshner
