Good location clean hotel and nice pool. Room was large and we had a view of fistral beach altho far away. The bed was comfy but pillows too big and hard. Nice toiletries

Think £10 a night for parking is a lot. They should give the parking out free on a first come first served basis. Given the price of the room the parking was a surprise. Rooms not that well insulated. Could hear al the walking around and movements of people above us. Not the fault of the hotel tho.

The view was excellent and the pool area was amazing

My room, 224, was next to the stairs and I was woken up a couple of times because of this.

The lack of soundproofing. We couldn’t sleep due to noise from upstairs. Creaky floors.

upon arrival they were unaware of our booked stay and we therefore had to wait 30 minutes for the room to be "cleaned", when we got to the room we found bunk beds when it was suppost to be 2 singles, when i enquired to reception that we had booked for two singles and not bunk beds they said they would "consider" giving us a refund and we can find somewhere else. The room wasnt clean at all, the dust was very thick on everything including the headboard, it was so bad you could even see a thick layer of it and on the pictures and mirrors. Also there was no lock on the bathroom door? makes it very awkward when staying as a family, most modern bathroom door locks can be opened from the outside incase of emergency so unsure why there wasnt one. Theres only seating for 11 people around the pool so anymore people then that then your sitting on the floor despite lots of space for more chairs?, also no changing rooms, just one or two shower cubicles so you need to que up to get changed in there. In the evening we went to the bar for a drink but had to leave quickly as we had 2 young children and there was 2 guys at the bar loudly swearing while making obsene phone calls, no staff present behind the bar as they all seemed to be in reception but you could see other hotel guests were uncomfortable with it also. The garden area outside was a complete mess, with old glasses lying around, litter and the garden seating thrown around like a storm had hit it and no one could be bothered to tidy it up. We ended up driving into newquay centre as it was too far to walk and when chatting to some of the locals even they didnt have a good opinion of the hotel when we mentioned where we were staying.Additional to reply to the hotels reply,You never offered a full refund, you offered to "may consider" a refund. Yes you offered a free drink but this was left in the bar due to the lack of staff monitoring the loud swearing.

The property is in a good location however they lack the ability and will to take care of multicultural people. The breakfast was average

The property treated us with so much disrespect and racial discrimination from my point of view. No request we made was ever granted. They refused us breakfast the second day saying it was past time but when I approached them they changed the language that the kitchen was closed. Our rooms were not cleaned and they bluntly refused anything that would make us comfortable. They gave us rooms without doors after taking an extra £44 from us saying our booking was not specific. If this was the hotel in the world to shield me from danger, o wouldn’t run into it except I see improvements. I’ve made this review out of a pure heart

booked a sea view, got a partial sea view, told that was what we booked, we'd booked a superior sea view, nit sure what else we coud have done - didn't like that we'd used booking.com, should have booked direct. told if you don't book direct next time you'd have to pay to park

the staff were unfriendly except for the receptionist who booked us out.the room view as above paid fir a sea view got a patial sea view

I like everything about it. Comfy bed. Food is excellent. Easy parking . Polite staff.

Location , swimming pool a good size But need of updating

Dirty , very very tired throughout the hotel and dated in rooms . Damaged to walls , carpet dirty and patched in places . Paint work very badly chipped and poor condition.Rooms poorly decorated poor standard every where was painted over to bad standard

Liked that the hotel had an indoor pool. The pool room was nice and warm & had comfortable chairs/loungers. Quick and easy check in.

The beds were not comfortable at all! Woke up in pain several times due to the bed being so hard. The floors were extremely creaky so you can hear guests moving around all the time.The room doors slam shut so was disturbed by other guests. The room floor was on a slant so felt unbalanced.

I liked how friendly and helpful the staff were at the Reception desk. We had booked a 'room only' stay so cannot comment on the facilities as a whole, though we did have a nice breakfast on our last morning.Parking was limited so we had to find a space out on the street when we returned at 9.30 pm.Sad we did not have time to enjoy the swimming pool.

We had asked for a quiet room, however, we could hear footfall from the room above.
