- The Hacienda was full of faded elegance and charm. A beautiful old building set in its own substantial grounds, with a very attractive pool. We were looked after extremely well by Jamie, who did everything he could to make us feel at home ( literally) At the time of our stay we were the only guests, so it was very quiet, but consequently very relaxed. Good breakfast each morning, always served with a smile.
- Grounds are gorgeous, animals, horseback riding, wonderful staff, seclusion not far from San Jose airport
Cons -
- This is tricky, because we loved the property but it was not as described by Booking.Com. The rooms DO NOT have a kitchenette. The restaurant is available by advance reservation only, and there is only a bar on a weekend, when the Hacienda opens its grounds to the general public.
- Room too rustic for our taste.
