Good location and comfortable lounge bar

Rooms were very hot, beds were very old and not particularly comfortable

Room was nice, although windows could do with a deep clean. Location was really good.

Reception staff! Honestly never been in a hotel where the staff are so rude. The man checking us in was patronising and condescending. There was an issue with my booking name but instead of being helpful he was rude and snappy. Took 30 mins just to get in. Then the 2nd guest was 18 but because she looks slightly younger and he kept laughing and calling her a kid. They should make customers more re aware of the ID policy, luckily I had mine but you need it for all guests and others trying to check in were having an issue.Don’t think the reception staff like their job really and don’t care how they treat you.

Perfectly fine for a one night stay. Room was clean, beds are comfortable, staff were polite.

Check in staff were lovely. That’s about it really.

Very run down. In a rough area with rubbish, graffiti and drunk people everywhere. Room was cold, only heating was a plug in radiator, mattresses were those £49 ones off eBay. Bad smell in communal areas and lifts like damp. Would be ok for young people visiting for the night to go out on the booze and come back to if it was only £50 but if you are visiting for any other reason or have kids you ect stay away

A bed to sleep in...

Dirty mirror, no main light source, limited plug sockets, room with no windows and the room very very hot. Loud noise pounding between 7-9am on a Sunday morning ?works?

Location, beautiful building, good price

Inner room (no windows) was very warm and no ventilation or AC. Fan was provided but no way of getting colder air into the room.

The hotel offered a triple bed room- one of the only ones in Manchester. It was very convenient for public transport. Staff were pleasant and the room was very well cleaned.

It was a little tired.

Overall stay was good, my only issue was the bar. Nobody was manning it. I sat in there for 10 mins and was told somebody would come along. They never did and in the end I left and went outside the hotel for a drink. When i mentioned it to staff one of the males was a bit short with me. I put it down to staffing issues and left.

The female staff were very friendly. Male staff could do with learning from the females. I would of liked a bartender so I didn't have to leave the hotel.

The room was a decent size and the facilities were great. The bathroom was really good.

A lot of the handy work has been dodged. The staff were rude.

So so sooo hot we couldn’t sleep, and the tv didn’t work but they staff tried to fix it and offered to switch rooms; we declined as it was late but were grateful that they tried

Stayed here a lot recently for work, very clean and good location.

Lost power in room twice, no electricity Tuesday and Friday morning. Stayed here a lot recently, but unfortunately this is not what you want in the morning.

It is perfect for quick trips for coffees and food, as well as shopping. All of the staff were lovely including the security guard and the hotel was spacious and functional Good price for what you get Satellite tv working

The bar isn’t open, but good prices if it was open (£7.50 for two cocktails) Rooms aren’t very sound proof ( a lot of noise from other rooms can be heard) Hair found in the bathroom from last guest A few stains on the carpet

Staff was very friendly and reliable. Great atmosphere and is close to all the nearest shops and ect..

The pillows were like rocks, the mattress was firm and the air conditioning was not really available

Cost vs the quality of the room. Bath was damaged. Light in the room wasn't working. Very much a lack of UK 3 pin sockets.The euro 3 pin type was common yet this is in Manchester UK so why use that instead of a standard UK type.Waiting times seemed like I was stood there for best part of 30mins. I've been in cheaper places with better facilities. And not waiting 30mins to get my key to the room. Overall I would not ever come back there again. Just because it's overpriced and lack of quality. Seemed like it's all show on the front and very poor inside.
