Ibis London Earls Court Hotel

Location to central London is good. Easy access to the underground.

Construction and price. Driving to the hotel can be challenging from the airports.

the rooms were spacious, the staff were accommodating, allowed us early check-in when they saw my daughter in crutches so she can rest, Maja- the staff in the cafe was friendly and helpful, preparing our cafe and pastries with a smile, every breakfast time.

the bathroom in our room had a smell that didn’t go away but nothing major.

Modernised & clean

Aircon in room didn’t seem to work. Opened window in the end to get some air.

It was clean modern and well maintained

Efficient staff and easy check-in and out. Decent facilities, nice reception area and handy small cafe/deli that came in handy when we arrived home after 10pm.

Single beds in twin room are a bit small but adequate. Noise from neighbours coming and going throughout the night was a bit of a problem - not the property owners' fault but not ideal.

Nice hotel in a great location with the benefit of secure underground parking which was helpful. Nice comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Very friendly service and helpful staff. Overall very happy with our stay!

If I was being super critical, an Iron in the room would have been a great addition, they do have ironing facilities on 6th floor, but having this in your room would be more convenient.

Location is a bonus, as is the parking (despite the price tag - £22 for 24 hr) if you can get parked unless the football is on. Much better appearance following refurbishment but many parts of the hotel are still building sites years after refurbishments first started. Our room was clean.

The staff member who checked us in didn't understand how to check us in and tried to book a new room for us? When we finally made it to our room, we were hit with an overwhelming stench of rotten eggs which turned out to be the shower drain. We had to open the windows all evening to air the room out and it still smelt so disgusting. The bed linen was clean but looked worn, lots of bobbling of the material. Only one pillow per person and these were quite flat and one was lumpy. The mattress had sunken and felt slightly uncomfortable to sleep on. Our view overlooked houses but there was lots of building materials left out, unsure if this would cause a problem with noise midweek as we stopped over on a weekend. Very average experience and we are hopefully not going to return to this hotel anytime soon unfortunately. Seems very much style over substance.

Fantastic value for money. Newly renovated with fresh and modern rooms. Great location only a few minutes walk from the subway.

Location and cleanliness

Breakfast was excellent but evening meals were a little hit and miss and do not ask for a cocktail as the bar staff don't really know too much about good cocktails

This hotel is ideally sited. Its revamp has been completed since our last stay. Very high standard. Helpful and friendly staff (especially the breakfast team). Clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast.

The only downside was the heating/aircon. Couldn't work out how to adjust it and ended up dehydrated because too hot.

Only 1 t bag in the room for 2 people. Towels a bit cheap and thin, only 3 pillows between 2 people. Lighting in the room was poor.

Ease of access and location clean room

On arrival was requested to see my passport and driving licence despite checking in online and being told I would receive my door key on arrival for a quicker check in. Extra stress not needed. Room had also been changed after booking without telling me to an unsuitable room not big enough for our guests. Tiny room for 3 sharing with a fragile sofa bed.
