Bathroom dirty

The location is beautiful and family easy to get to.

Room was dirty, hair balls, very dated room, was in need of maintenance in several forms

Ability to have our entire stay self contained as we traveled with 10 month old baby. Room with patio, water park, dining room, trails right outside. Made for a lovely stress-free mini vacation for my little family.

No. Everything and everyone was great.

Abe Martin lodge is a historic building with people coming here and enjoying nature for a very long time. I brought my children here when they were small to enjoy the swimming pools in winter. Coming here again after many years with my adult son was fun .

No structural improvements have been done and the place looks old and tired.

The waterslide

The box spring cover was years past its prime, it showed evidence of what I assumed was vomit. The bathroom door was the skinniest door I¿ve seen, and was peeling away. The intake cover looked as though it likely hasn¿t been cleaned in this century.

Beautiful scenery around.

It was very dated. Some lights didn¿t work. The carpet and comforters were very old. The room smelled musty. Although the room was clean it felt dirty because it was so old. The front staff seemed annoyed they had to check me in. Average

We loved the staff. They were friendly, helpful, and patient.

The location and history of the building. The breakfast was also fantastic in their restaurant.

The staff could¿ve been friendlier but we checked in with ease so no complaints.

Felt safe

Considering the price I was expecting a much nicer room. The staff seemed to have inadequate training. Also breakfast was not included. The price was very high and yet the quality was impressively poor.

No complementary breakfast and no microwave to heat up food!

The drive to the lodge through the state park was beautiful. And then you come to the lodge which was exactly what I thought a lodge in the woods would look like. From the decor in the room to the outside porch swing, everything was perfect.

There wasn¿t one thing I did not like. Everything was the way it should be.The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable with big fluffy pillows, and a warm blanket.

Picturesque setting, nice water park, extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Some mold and water damage in a "newly remodeled" room, served in the lodge restaurant was slow but the servers were very polite and apologetic about delays.

Part of the lodge is over 80 years old and it is showing it's age. Outside temp was in the 40's and there was no heat in the building. Tub drain was stopped up. A shelf over the bathroom sink was missing. Water stains in the ceiling around the HVAC.

Front desk staff was rude and room smelled moldy

Staff was great and no problems when I asked for a refund.

The bathroom was disgusting! Bed was smaller than expected and it was a shared cabin.

The cabin was close to the lodge, easy accessible. Great location in the state park -- close to trails, pool, things to do.

The location of the cabin in relation to the lodge was wonderful we were right next to the outside deck seating for the restaurant which was paramount to my wife and I during COVID. The indoor aquatic center and hot tub was just the Icing on the cake.

The cabin rooms were fairly sparse but ok. Unfortunately one of the beds in our cabin was broken but since there were two and only my wife and I it was ok. There needed to be more path lighting to the cabins.

Location was amazing. Rooms were very nice and the pool area was nice as well.

While at the pool, they were out of towels. When I asked one of the workers, he looked and said oh we must be out and told me to go to the front desk. Front desk said they were out too and said I could just use ones in room. I would have expected more
