Prospective guests need to know the massive security risks and absolute lack of corporate accountability at Hotel Indigo London - 1 Leicester Square (IHG). While staying here in March, three of our expensive watches were stolen out of our room.

Location. I was allowed to check in early, which was great. Requested a iron (took a long time to receive, but did get it), and it was left in my room for the stay. The staff seemed welcoming. I found out they have a special lift on the stairs outside.

Every day around 7 or 8 I would hear banging, not sure if it was the cleaning crew getting ready or neighbors but couldn't sleep. The lift take so long. The rooftop bar is popular so maybe that's the reason. The bar closes too early. A/C wasn't the best.

Great bathroom & shower. Comfortable bed & pillows. Quiet-outside noise not heard. Refrigerator worked well. Great location with easy access to public transportation.

Wasn?t impressed with the breakfast in the rooftop restaurant.

Got locked out of my room and had to make multiple trips downstairs and even after that the front desk master key wouldn?t open it. Thank god my friend was in there sleeping otherwise I don?t know what I would have done. No concession offered :/

Outside of rooftop bar is nice but is also open to the public and rooms are not secure from public entering the bar

Absolutely not a 4-star quality. Room was incredibly noisy from the square late into the night and the room itself was not well cleaned or maintained (several mold spots in the bathroom, sheets appeared dirty, & dust/hair piles on floor).

Location and great breakfast

Wanted to charge 80 pounds for a noon checkout instead of 11 am. Totally ridiculous.

The central location was terrific. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for us to open both of our suitcases - something that does not always happen.

We did not like the speed of the elevators. Since there is a rooftop bar, many non-hotel guests are using the elevators as well which takes away from hotel guests who need them.

The location: excellent. The bed comfort: excellent. The lighting configuration: excellent.

Room very dusty as well as the restaurant. There was an old plastic bottle on the floor tucked under the storage area with tumbleweeds of dust. The vanity tap leaked so all our toiletries got wet. We told reception twice with no action. Lift was dodgy.

Location. Quiet room - but probably be size the windows are unopenable.

One particular staff member was very awkward. The first room we checked into was a box with no window and there was another guest shouting explicits at staff members down the hall. My breakfast was simple and Luke warm. This was after forgetting to put our order through to the kitchen.

Breakfast was great!!! Room was unique, Staff were friendly.

I know this is not something you have control over but there was a homeless person asleep out side the entrance for 3 days and it was SAD. He was right by the stairs. other than that the visit was very nice stay.

Staff were Great, Knowledgeable, Helpful, and Professional. Position was great and fantastic views from 9th floor.Best breakfast selection and quality. Very Good room, good nights sleep and excellent shower.

There was nothing to dislike.

The breakfast was great, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast area is located on the top floor with a bird's eye view of London. The hotel location was great. It is right next to Chinatown, the National Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery. Easy stroll to the Tube station and a nice walk to Covent Garden.

Great location right in Leicester Square. Very central to what we wanted to see and do. Nice rooftop bar with view of Leicester Square, the Eye and Big Ben.

Room was a bit noisy. We heard music from an ajoining business and also heard internal plumbing noise like a large washing machine. Both did not disturb us significantly.

Everything seemed to be recently renovated and in very nice condition. The breakfast and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

not enough elevators, no furniture on balcony, slow elevators, limited room service menu,

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Prompt help with any issues. Excellent location.

A little more variety on the breakfast menu. Avocado toast should be toasted. Elevators could be a little faster.
