Shower water pressure was not great

Gentleman who checked us in was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Finally renovated the decor when transitioning from Hilton to Doubletree.

TV did not work. I hate these new showers instead of tubs in all hotels. And this one was the worst. No sliding door so you have to stand in the firing range of the water to turn it on. No amenities in room. No lotion etc. Shower had hair in it.

Paint peeling, room dirty, could not get a working key issued to me and required maintenance to let me into my room any time I left it.

Too expensive for what we got. Under construction. No coffee unless you want to pay add¿l $25. Paid over $--- for one night. Room was adequate. Expect more from Hilton.

The location is ideal, the hotel was easy to find and access. The option of food internally was nice.

The room was modern and clean, but the bathroom was so small that the door hit the toilet. The bathrooms needed updating for this star level. The internet was so spotty that I had to set up a wifi hotspot using phone data, which is not ideal.

Conveniently located in downtown Hartford

I arrived to find that the pool and fitness center were under construction. When I asked if they had arrangements with other hotels or if they could arrange for access at other hotels, they said no and did not offer any other assistance.

Convenient location in the heart of downtown. Front desk staff was very friendly efficient. Parking was only 19 dollars a day with in & out privileges.

Rooms are dated, beds very uncomfortable. Very disappointing that Hilton is ending daily housekeeping. More work for housekeepers but not more time to clean per room. Unsanitary and unfair to your workers. No more Hiltons for us until the policy is ended.

The staff is so wonderful, super helpful and kind. The pool and fitness room is great! Can¿t wait to go back next year and see all of the renovations.

The hotel is currently undergoing some changes. The rooms are very outdated, but clean.

The women that checked me in was nice, the lobby was clean.

The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, habit it had been previously smoked in, so it smelled disgusting and the carpet was gross and stained. For a Hilton and the price I was very disappointed.

The hotel was in a convenient location with parking in a garage next door at a separate cost. No breakfast was included, however the room we ultimately ended up in was comfortable.

The hotel was overbooked. Our initial room assigned was unmade when we got there and we had to BEG for a room which obviously put someone else out that night. It was not handled well and others were behind me at 10pm. Housekeeping is a huge issue. BAD!

The location of this hotel is it¿s best feature. It is very centrally located in the downtown area, which allows for easy access to many attractions like Hartford Stage, the Yard Goats stadium, the Bushnell, and the XL center.

The rooms in the hotel are very dated and could use some updating. They also lacked some of the typical features provided in other hotels: coffee machine, microwave, iron, ice bucket, etc. For a decent place to shower and sleep the room was sufficient.
