Hot water was not good nor was the water pressure and the elevator wasn’t working

Historic hotel

We were required to pay a resort fee but there were no happenings in later winter. Restaurants were limited to pizza and breakfast. The room was very basic and the shower was either scalding or freezing and made me screech

The crescent is over 100 years old so the floors creak and the stair banisters tops are huge. You can feel the history and the outdoor area is peaceful.

The hotel is old school when it comes to how they treat their guests. From actual keys to the room, to the bell hops, the way they treat every guest like they are the only guests, and the most important guests. Classic hospitality at its finest!

No, there was nothing that I can say negative about this hotel. In fact, we made our reservations for July, before our stay even ended.

The atmosphere of the hotel itself and the staff.

Our bathroom tub/shower was terrible. It was an old porcelain clawfoot tub with a shower. The tub itself had no anti-slip mat which made it really hard to shower because it was so slick and dangerous. As for the shower head it didn't work well.

I loved the character of the hotel, I loved the activities the hotel offered and the location was great.

Housekeeping did not clean our room during the 3 day stay. Coffee grounds and coffee were left in the coffee maker from the guest before us.

Fun hotel with lots to see and do. Beds are comfortable, space in your was great.

Not enough personal storage areas. No space to set toiletries in bathroom, no drawers or table.

Character and ambience. Room and public space period furnishing. Staff was welcoming and accommodating.

The feel of it, the castle type feel of it. The view. Staff was awesome.

The history and location of this property make it a great get-away spot with outdoor activities available and in-house spa services. Dining options in-house are convenient and add to the experience. Take the Ghost Tour, too!

Some of the things about the appearance of the hotel should be updated, like the carpeting in the lobby and the bathroom in our room. I understand the intent is to retain its original state, but the bathtub was pretty dingy.

Nothing. Terribly over priced for room rented. The room was supposed to have a jacuzzi tub and did not. When asked if they would change rooms they denied request because room was booked they 3rd party. We checked out of room and lost $327.00.

We had a wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly and the large fireplace was welcoming on arrival. We experienced a haunting the first night- the sound of a ball bouncing and rolling on wood floors awoke us! No wood floors in guest rooms! ¿¿

No.. everything was exceptional

They had enough staff on hand to take care of the customers.

The restaurant was average at best. My wife loved her Lasagna, my Alfredo Chicken was tasteless. Breakfast was good.Except for that, the stay was memorable and we may have to come back.

Nothing to do. We went on our honeymoon to do the ghost tour and they weren¿t doing them. That was the whole reason we went. We spent the night and left at 6 AM the next morning

Clean, friendly and fun activities.

Antique atmosphere, activities to do with our son, & the history of the hotel. Ghost tour was awesome, from start to finish. People ALL was nice and professional. Food was great in the upstairs pizza place. Dinner was excellent down stairs.

Prices on the food was a little overwhelming. I do not like places that throw in their own tips, in price of meals. Very upsetting. I tip how waiter and waitress treats the guest. Some get $, while others get $$ or $$$.

Beautiful hotel with a fascinating history!

We ordered pizza from 4th floor pizza restaurant. Said it would be delivered in 20 minutes. After 45 minutes, we called back. No pizza, they were "working on it." We had to call the front desk to complain. It took an hour and a half. No plates/napkins.

Paying almost $--- To stay and could not eat breakfast in the almost completely empty hotel restaurant with making a reservation! Went down for breakfast and there were only 5 people eating but told I had to have a reservation.

It was certainly charming. Shuttle service to downtown shopping was very convenient, shuttle driver was superb
