Breakfast was fantastic.Staff were very friendlyReal fire in the snug which was lovely

The room was cold but we found a heater in the cupboard.The bathroom had. Lear glass in the window which was unusual and lacked privacy.

Location, cleanliness and room quality was excellent.Breakfast was very tasty and hot.

The main bar was closed down at 7 pm and the open fire had virtually burnt out in the seating area next to the bar. On a Saturday evening!! being Valentine's Night ?? The social area of the hotel......Other residents found it strange especially as the hotel was fully booked....

We stayed at Lodge house. No connection, the bathroom was cold. Breakfast was ok but waited 45 minutes to get it.

Nothing not to like

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet location. Food was exceptional.

The staff were all great, without exception. We're thinking of moving to The Lincolnshire Wolds area and the hotel staff reinforced our view that the area is super friendly and welcoming (particularly Joe). Absolutely loved the Wolds - a real hidden gem. Lincolnshire is not all flat and boring, in fact the Wolds compare favourably with anywhere in the UK. Woodhall Spa is a really lovely little town, quite upmarket and inviting. It reminded me of some other 'pretty' UK towns, but much more wooded. Our hotel room was large and comfortable, the evening meals were pretty good too. The hotel is located right in the middle of a lovely wooded area next to the golf course. We couldn't have wished for a better hotel or location.

The selection on the morning buffet (pre-full english) was uninspiring. There was and absence of inviting fruits, or green figs and prunes in syrup. The dried fruit, specifically the dried apricots, were so dried out, that the were virtually impossible to bite through. We had the full English breakfast, which was piping hot and generally very good with the exception of the mushrooms (a single large one) which was awful - black, mushy and watery. I think button mushrooms would have been a more appropriate offering as they tend to generally retain their shape and texture better.

The room was excellent, warm, spacious and the best sleep we have had in years!We had breakfast on our checkout day which was awesome. Very tasty sausage and bacon....yummy!!

Only 1 small negative would be the TV could be upgraded in my opinion. A little small for this size room.

There isn't a thing I could complain aboutOh other than the TV not being a smart TV so we could have streamed a movie, but that not a complaint more of recommendation, i think people would want that if they stayed

Excellent hotel, Firstly the staff were very good, especially Tudor & Ethan who ran the bar & restaurant, the food in the evening was very good, a limited menu, but in my opinion this allows the chef to focus on locally sourced ingredients, the breakfast was also excellent, good menu choice, will stay here again if in the area

The room was very cold on our arrival as the heating had been turned off. Staff did bring an electric heater to help warm the room. Going from the block of rooms in the grounds to the main house in the pouring rain. We got very wet. Could do with umbrella's in each building.. fill the potholes in. both car parks had a fair few and deep

Large, dangerous potholes in driveway to both main and lodge buildings. They were there last time we stayed and in the dark could seriously damage vehicles or cause falls.

Nothing really except the toilet roll holder kept falling off and not enough milk in the room for more than 1 hot drink

The food at lunch, dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good. The staff were accommodating as we arrived quite late in the evening just before last food orders. They looked after cheerfully and professionally.

We’ve been before. We like the building, the location and the staff.

Found out 2 days before we were due that there was a wedding going on the night we were there. Fortunately there was no noise as we were in the annexe. Our bar and restaurant however were empty. The meal was a bit hit and miss. We’d booked to eat at 5.30 pm as leaving at 6.45 for an evening show. We were told that the chef was really busy ( wedding) and there may be a delay with our meals. The waiter was very good and kept us informed but it all felt a bit Fawlty Towerish . At one point we were not sure what would arrive in time. The food did come and we had time to eat it.
