This Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort's traditionally furnished rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. Each features a feather bed, desk with ergonomic desk chair and free bathroom amenities. Waterside Restaurant offers various breakfast from buffett to ALC depending on volume and The Commons serves lunch and dinner with views of Stone Mountain. Mountain Brew Café offers coffee and light snacks. The Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort is located off of Highway 78. Several hiking and mountain biking trails are within Stone Mountain Park. Guests can reach downtown Atlanta with a 16-mile drive. Cons -
- People should know that this hotel is in a historic park that you have to pay extra to get into. Also, it memorializes awful people who fought to KEEP slavery during the civil war. It was offensive.
- $20 state park entrance fee to get there
- I was not made aware until checking in that they would be charging a $45 resort fee. I don?t know why such a fee exist when nothing at the resort was open. Also, I tried calling the front desk on several occasions to ask a question to no avail
