Very central hotel within walking distance of metro and main attractions. Super friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. A very pleasant stay!

The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The gym was well-equipped and clean. The staff was very polite. It was a great experience staying at the Royal Sonesta.

I checked out this morning from my staycation and expressed my dissatisfaction with the room I was given. I chose the room because of the spa tub it highlighted, but when I went to use it only 1 out of the 6 jets worked. I mentioned it to the front desk that night and during check-out. The evening attendant wanted to send maintenance, but I had already showered and ordered dinner, I wanted to relax. This morning the front desk worker said she couldn't give a compensation because the reservation was booked with a third party (here). She was supposed to follow up and call me, but I have not heard from her. The spa tub was the whole reason I chose to pay extra for the room so it sucks that I didn't get the luxurious pampering I had been looking forward to during my stay.

The room had a very comfy bed (probably the most comfortable that I have ever experienced)! The hotel is also in an excellent location. The room was clean and spacious. Overall good experience.

I feel like the hotel should provide a complimentary set of slippers. The bathroom floor is very slippery when walking on it in socks. I slipped on it the first day and hit the doorway with my arm quite hard, leaving a blue mark.

Very nice hotel, great location, reception staff not very polite. In addition, I was charged $15 per day for food and drinks at the hotel and they didn't tell me. I only realized this the next day and I couldn't use yesterday's money anymore. There is no complimentary coffee in the lobby for guests, like in all the hotels I've been to in the US. The room is comfortable and cozy

Super spacious rooms, tastefully decorated. Very clean. Friendly staff. Valet parking very convenient. Amazing breakfast options. Good location, nice neighbourhood.

Location was close to subway, easy to get to main attractions, was never really late back to hotel but felt safe coming back to hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. 45 minutes on subway from Dulles international. Reception happy to store luggage on check out day as we didn't fly till 9pm.

The cost required for deposit, nightly amount instead of a fixed amount. Quickly mounts up if you are there for any period
