Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters

A nice old-school hotel with large comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Good location, nice and safe area.

There was ongoing construction on the top floors of the hotel, and the noise woke us up early in the morning. The internet connection was very poor.

Great location, clean, spacious, well-cared for.

The restaurant. The menu was very limited and the service less than adequate.

Unfriendly, uncomfortable from check in and throughout stay. Restaurant at hotel is not even in business,just for breakfast and no one goes there. Shower in my room was broken.NOT RECOMMENDED

Loved the location of this property! It’s not far from the metro and has so many great food options nearby. Lots of tourist attractions nearby as well.

My AC consistently did not work. The staff sent an “engineer” up to my room and he reset the unit. It then proceeded to work for 2-3 hours before it was hot again. Since it was much cooler outside, I opened the window.

The hotel was great. But the fraud of Booking.com is the problem. I found the same hotel for a cheaper price with the same hotel and yet you refuse to refund me or give me credit for a future booking. My company employs over 300000 employees throughout the country. I will surely send an email and on Teams throughout the company telling them this situation and not to use Booking.com but to use Expedia, Trivago or Priceline if we can't come to some compromise.

I spoke with several of your customer service help and sent all the necessary information and still to no avail. Though I am very pleased with the hotel I am deeply disappointed in how your company treated me!

Couldn’t access rooftop bar and missing a swimming pool

Not enough hang out space. Was a little confused where the restaurant started and what was hotel lobby.

Great location within walking distance from the epic Washington DC sites. Also near to lots of bars, restaurants and a supermarket.Closest metro station is a 10 minute walk.The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, spacious and clean - we (booked two deluxe double doubles).

There was nothing really to dislike however a couple of minor points where that the hotel decor is a little tired and dated but the space you get inside the rooms counters this. No refrigerators in some of the rooms (deluxe is the basic room!) however they can be requested on a first come first served basis which was great.

Location was excellent as we walked to all major attractions,as per other reviews this hotel was once grand but is due for an revamp,rooms are very tired,didn’t try restaurant so can’t comment,with some money spent on a re vamp it will impress

It’s very old and dated peeling wallpaper no fridge in room for drinks,a lot of outside noise and door banging,pillows need replacement very lumpy
