Holiday Inn Washington Capitol - Natl Mall by IHG

The room your desk staff put us in was fantastic.

TV satellite went out with weather, no directory /channel line up page and very few channels.

Restaurant seemed disorganized and frantic. Would not give us to go boxes or cups because "corporate" said no???

Ordered a handicap room, didn't get. Were told breakfast was included, had confirmation number, but were told that no breakfast included. Breakfast very limited to expensive limited buffet ($27) or continental breakfast; no menu.

My bed was a bit too hard

Loved being able to walk to everything on the National Mall. Set up an evening monument tour through the hotel and the tour company picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel which was great.

Are room was unclean and smelled Horrible! Which I believe they Knew because the door was wide open the bell man was pissed

Staff was Amazing and room accommodating for my pets and I. It was better than I expected.

Rooms were a bit outdated but clean and comfortable

The location and proximity to the National Mall, museums and monuments is absolutely perfect! All staff members I encountered were amazing and extremely helpful. A shout out to Tony at the front desk! When my boys and I first arrived. He was very kind.

Some of the pricing of food in the restaurant for dinner was pricey. One evening ordered a Caesar salad ($16) and opted to have chicken added for an additional $8.95. When it was served it was very small and had two thin strips of chicken on top.

It’s walking distance form the capital and the national mall I had barley use the metro or uber to get around especially if you just want to get around the national mall and museum and the capital its like a few blocks from the main attraction.

I wish that they have a indoor pool then have it outside so I could swim while I was staying so be aware if you book during off season the pool wouldn’t be available

The Parking Small spots in the garage And to have to pay $59.00 a nite to park was outrageous. If you rent a room parking should be free ir cheaper. 59.00 is really to much.

I like the late checkout, the Starbucks, housekeeping and beds made daily and the large patio to sit and eat.

Rooms could use a little updating. Especially carpet. Compounding pharmacies.

Hard to say. The staff were outstanding. The room was great. The location was perfect.

I didn't like the key system because sometimes it was difficult to get the elevator to read our cards to take us up to our room.

1. Bathroom rust, paint chipping, dirty chrome 2. Pool is small, very cold, filled w kids, murky, cloudy water 3. Staff rude & not helpful i. e. Won't give directions, gruff & unaccommodating when asked for TP or a corkscrew. Chk in/out no time opts

They lied and told me i was upgraded when i got to the room it was smaller than the one i payed for with a smaller bed. I had to go back down and ask for the king bed room i payed for

Location! Starbucks! Market sells wine and there's an outdoor atrium!

Carpet was very dated and a bit dirty. It was pulled up in areas making it hard to use a wheelchair or transport luggage easily.
