Very good location, clean and big room. For family of 4 persons was enough space in room. Generally we were satisfied. If I will have one more trip to Washington DC I will choose this hotel one more time.
The faucet in the bathroom was broken. It was impossible to take a shower. I informed this on reception during check out and hope they will fix it

I like the proximity to the national mall and to the metro. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and helpful. From the front desk agent, to a maintenance person, to the housekeeper.
I enjoyed my stay just as much as the first time (about 6 yrs ago) but the hallways are giving a dated appearance. So it’s nothing major, just an observation.

Met family for the marine marathon. Hotel accommodations are amazing and the staff was top notch and very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We had a great worry free trip thanks to the Holiday Inn.

It was close to a lot of attractions and restaurants, CLEAN. Thebstaff was helpful and friendly, the restaurants inside the hotel had very good food and seemed clean also.
Our room had a few malfunctions, the TV didn't work on all of the channels, the screen would freeze or it just wouldn't play. The heating system in the room wasn't working correctly, it would heat up to max for a very long time and then once it was super hot and muggy for a while it would kick on super cold ac, it's like it couldn't regulate the temps correctly, however we were only staying 1 night so we didn't bother the staff about it, but something to pay attention to.

Easy to get to from the highway and great location with the museums on your doorstep. Rooms are comfortable.
Rooms arnt that sound proofed, especially if a train is passing through on the local line.Also, don’t bother paying for a room on an upper floor, you gain nothing for it.

location was perfect... a block from the Mall... 2 miles from our race start. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.
the rate was costly and parking expensive. We were charged a second security deposit in error.... but I expect that to be corrected quickly.
