The staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make sure everything was great.

I found the some of the things was showing there age and needed replacing.

Staff went over and above to make sure I was comfortable - after an issue with a sticking door, they moved me into another room and made sure I had a quiet space to do a Teams call the following day after check-out. Just fantastic, friendly all-round service.

Room looking a little tired, bed was ok, very few tv channels, & the walls were very thin so it felt like I was having an unintentional threesome with two different couples at the same time at one point..

Good location and the room was a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site was helpful.

Room and bathroom were really cold despite the heating, probably due to weather. Felt too cold to even consider a shower. Room had no towel or soap for handwashing which I would have expected. Breakfast was included but was pretty average.

Lovely room and view over the lake, clean with good breakfast.

The pool seemed to have a heating fault so it was freezing! Would have been good to know this in advance or be told when we checked in so that I could have brought my children warmer swimwear.

Much like a questionable ex, there were redeeming qualities that kept you from immediately blocking the number.The housekeeping team, for one, were the emotional support system I didn’t know I needed, appearing every time I was on the verge of packing my bags with another blanket or space heater, like, “Hey… maybe don’t leave just yet?”Also, the general setting is genuinely lovely. The grounds are beautiful in the same way your ex’s Instagram feed was very picturesque, very calming, and wildly inconsistent with what you’re actually experiencing in real life.And of course, the optimism. I liked the optimism I arrived with. That was nice while it lasted.

Mainly the part where reality set in.The room temperature hovered somewhere between “Victorian orphanage” and “walk-in freezer,” which really added to the whole why am I still here? vibe. The swimming facilities, one of the main reasons I booked in the first place, appeared to operate on a strict “look but don’t touch” policy when it came to children, which would’ve been useful information before I emotionally committed.Then there were the hotels friends. Roaming the halls, shouting into the void at all hours, and smoking so much weed it felt like the ventilation system had been replaced with a Snoop Dogg playlist. By the end of the night I was lying there wondering if second-hand exposure meant I’d need to explain myself at a future job interview.All in all, just a lot of moments where you think, “I should leave”… but then you’re already in your pyjamas and someone’s brought you another blanket, so here we are.

There was no one serving at the bar so has to wait a while for someone to attend to us had to go ask in the end. The hot tubs were quite exposed to other people so didn't end up going in as prefer not to have everyone being able to see us get in and out. There was quite a lot of noise coming from above our room which split our peaceful night away together. There was some stairs near that said private which I assumed was for staff.

I liked the log cabin it was okay.

The restaurant staff was nice but terrible service got my first round of drinks when my starter came had to remind them of my drinks, the jacuzzis outside only 1 working but too many people to even get a chance to go in time I got to go in was time it was shutting steam room was not working the rooms had coffee and sugar and tea but only 2 teas 4 coffee sachets and 4 sugar sachets between 2 hardly any milk pots The bar I was stood waiting for around 10/15 minutes for a member of staff which eventually I just ended up going back to my cabin, did not look up to its expectations let’s just say

I thought overall it was lovely.

However there was a wedding on so there was only a couple of seats in the bar and in the end sat on two chairs in the reception area but it was not very comfortable and difficult for me and my partner to speak plus the wedding guests kept stepping over us and we felt very in the way. The barmaid was very slow and I found her to be very rude to the other members of staff she spent way to long talking to the wedding guests about random things and a few times I overheard her say your bar is open in the reception area. We went to the restaurant to eat menu for 4oclock was very small staff didn't engage just took the order and we didn't see them again sandwich was ok small and the sides that would of come with it according to the menu didn't come very disappointing. In the spa it seems a little dated and could do with some modernising the steam room was also out of use

Room was nice, breakfast was nice

No pressure in the shower. Free usage of leisure centre is only available to residents at the most unhospitable times, unless you pay extra. Fleecing you for extra, when should be included, most disappointing.

The room was dreadful....torn carpet, cracked bathroom facilities, peeling woodwork.

The location is good for leeds bradford airport which is why we chose to stay here

we were charged £15 each to go to the spa which was filthy we weren’t in there longer than 20 minutes we complained but nothing was done and we didn’t receive a refund for this- there was another couple who had just complained and they received a refund and a bottle of champagne to apologiseit seemed like there was never any staff on the reception or at the bar we were waiting a long time to be served. when we eventually got served we ordered 2 beef brisket jacket potatoes, the potatoes were rock hard inside and burnt on the outside and the beef was cold and dry and it cost £26 for this! we eventually did receive a refund for this and had to order food in from uber eats.whilst we were sat in the bar area whilst waiting for our food there were constant complaints from other guests about various things and not much was being done to resolve any of these.the room we had was freezing cold, there was a draft from the window coming in and staying in january was so cold, the room door also didn’t lock properly!

The location is very convenient and the hot tubs because they were all nice. It was overall a good experience if considered about this experience.

Less maintenance lack of staff lack of information on site and on reception on the website they mentioned toiletries however there were no none in the room not no shampoo or nothing in the room which they forgot to fill a lack of housekeeping then very disappointing that the Room case stopped working and we had to go back-and-forth from the reception multiple times which is very disappointing. It was a horrible experience when it comes to this except for the only thing that was good was the hot tubs that’s it?

Rooms need refurbing and use a proper builder they seemed to be botched into make do

Quirky log cabin feel on large scale Staff were very helpful food was good

Cleaning was a little lucking in the room and common areas

Stayed at the Brontë 3 bed house. Nice and secluded with great hot tub and comfy rooms. Beds were amazingly comfortable.

Kitchen needed plastic glasses for the hot tub to be safe. Gym equipment a bit tired but worked

Great location. Close to the town with £6 uber ride to the centre. Staff were lovely. The room was clean and had free parking right outside.

The room needs a face lift. The casing was falling off the bath. The windows didn’t close all the way (warped wood). The beds had springs that were loud and uncomfortable.
