    Pros +

    • This is a beautiful property that is easily walkable into Arbois in about 5 to 8 minutes, and there is parking available which is nice because parking is difficult in the town. It has a beautiful garden in the back, an outside dining terrace as well a formal indoor dining room, and very comfortable rooms. The bedrooms were comfortable and well supplied with large windows that opened to let in cool evening air. There was also an air conditioner available although I did not use it. The formal restaurant was some of the best dining that I have ever experienced with an excellent female chef who has an exceptional team to assist her. The dishes were creative and art fully presented, and the wine selection was extensive with helpful guidance from the sommelier in providing proper meal and wine pairings. Stuff were kind of helpful.
    • Excellent hotel, very well maintained and staff is outstanding. The restaurant is particularly good. I enjoyed my stay there.
    • We have stayed in this hotel several times on our way to Italy. The staff are very kind and friendly, the food is always excellent, and the room is very comfortable indeed. We hope to return again next year.

    Cons -

    • Nothing special
    • Dinner wasn't my favorite. Scallop smelled bad.
    • I forget something on room although I contact them, they didn’t answer.

Located in the beautiful town, Arbois. Very good restaurant, but a bit pricy. Nice breakfast, but not a buffet. Very friendly staff.

The cleaning of the bathroom could have been better. There was a “western” door to the bathroom in our room, and I wouldn’t have booked the room if I knew that.

    9MargaretPosted on: 7-26-2024

Very comfortable room, and bed. Lovely location and pretty garden.

Only a slight niggle… there was a well placed bench for sitting in the evening sun, but there were slats missing which made it useless. The garden could have been very lovely .

The room was big. The bathroom very big. They provide a bathrobe and slippers.Location is very good as well.Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were very nice.

Being picky, check in was a bit late. But you can leave your car and luggage on site.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Room comfortable. Nice garden running down to the river. Cheese chariot. Arbois is a nice town, lovely countryside.

Restaurant, although very good, was a little bit pricey.

Breakfast could be a bit more adventurous.

Beautiful building with lovely fine dining restaurant. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Could park on site.

The room was tired, and smelt stale. The restaurant was so expensive and we were told they had to charge a €10 surcharge each for them to provide gluten free meal options. Restaurant was more expensive than the room.

The location was good, walking distance of town and restaurants.

Less expensive choice of menus in restaurant.

Cozy and clean room and comfortable bed with beautiful and healthy organic dinner with dedicated hospitality. I liked toilette separated from shower room.

This was a late booking on a stop over. The property is set in a secluded courtyard off the main road. The room was on the ground floor, very spacious, clean, large bathroom, comfortable bed. I booked in the restaurant, definitely recommend this the food was superb and the staff attentive. Breakfast was good but you had to order this the evening before

Especially our room and the beautiful garden.

Hard for us to understand that you dont serve breakfast at your very nice outdoor terasse. Who wants to have breakfast in a small dark indoor room?

    8SusanPosted on: 6-30-2023

Close to Maison Pasteur, but a bit out of town for other sites. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet and had lovely distant views but the immediate view was of a utilitarian flat gravelled rooftop. Our room was very private with no overlooking windows so the curtains could be left open. We had dinner at the hotel on a stunning back terrace overlooking the garden and hills. The air conditioning in our room was on for us when we arrived and worked very well. The shower over the bath had excellent pressure and hot water. Secure bike storage facilities in a private garden shed. Knowledgeable and helpful staff in the restaurant.

Prices in the restaurant were very expensive. No elevator and a maze of stairs to get to our room.

We had a great stay. Very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant with nice outdoor terrace for dining. Close to the centre ville. Would highly recommend
