Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa

The bed was comfortable. The facilities in the spa was okay but the pool was not clean.

The most of the staff were obnoxious and dismissive towards me.

Ok for my requirements as needed to be in that sort of location

One staff member working flat out on her own in the restaurant, asked why the other staff not helping she said they are staff dealing with the coach parties absolutely dreadful waiting times to be served , food basic for the cost and within a two night stay 5 people over heard saying food not great and very slow service

Plenty of storage. Plenty plug sockets. Very comfortable bed. Walk in good powerful shower. The food was nice in the bar area. Breakfast was varied and plentiful

The spa area was very small only 3 people could go in the steam room. There were very few beds when it was busy

Rooms outdated and beds uncomfortable.À la carte dining offering was an absolute shambles.

Disappointed to find out that we had to pay £5 to park our car overnight even though we was a hotel guest. Bar staff were reluctant to let us taste the wine before purchasing. Food was lovely just slightly cold.

the room was a good size and the spa and lounge is really nice.

The bed was really not very comfortable at all, my neck and back is hurting a lot from the bed and the pillows were too squashed. The breakfast was okay but it didn't feel like the ingredients were fresh. The mushrooms are always very shriveled up and gritty. I've been here a few times and I've had the same experiences. The hotel bar always has the best food the restaurant food is not as good. The menu is very limited I'm a vegetarian and there's one option for a vegetarian and it's not very nice option. The service in the restaurant is also very slow.

Room was a good size with a comfortable bed. My wife and I were attending a funeral reception and staying overnight. Good parking facilities. Bar food looked good.

Tv controls are not at all easy to understand we gave up! The buffet laid on for the reception we attended was bland and not very inviting. Personally found the bar prices on the high side.

Comfortable bed nice bathroom staff friendly.

Cold in hotel and room . Having to pay for parking, we had to leave leave £50 deposit, drinks very expensive paying 10% service on all transactions which you have to ask not to be included . Room needed a refurbishment.

Pillows were too firm which caused an uncomfortable night's sleep. TV was placed too low on unit to comfortably watch tv whilst lying in the bed. It really needs to be placed on the wall. Not impressed with having to pay for parking when staying, never had to when we stayed there previously.

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, mirror steamed up, condensation on windows, bathroom door was broken/unfinished at the floor level. The beds were too close together. Hiding the radiator behind long curtains doesn’t allow for much heat to get into the room. When W checked in the radiator was off and the room was very, very cold..

Kettle had scale and had water already in the kettle. The bathroom floor had large dirt marks. The chair in the room had white marks on the seat area and did not look clean. The carpet looked worn out.The room looked dated and needs a revamp.

The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Also appreciated the fact that there was an iron and board in the room. Loved the shampoo and body wash provided.

Generally the room was clean, but there was dust and cobwebs down the side of the cupboard where we had to retrieve a lost item of clothing.Could have been more plug points for charging phones etc.

Stayed here as my wife’s work Christmas party was at the same venue. Dog friendly.

Parking was exceptionally difficult. Three Christmas parties at the venue and it was very noisy with drunken attendees wandering passed our room talking loudly on their mobiles - had to go out to ask them to be quiet three times.

Good room. Great breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfy bar area.

There was nothing to dislike

The smoked salmon for breakfast was very nice.The water pressure in the bathroom was perfect for the bath and shower.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were too wet. There were marks on the bedroom walls and the carpets were a bit dirty and worn.

The location was ideal for us

tReceptionist on arrival was indifferent.Upholstery in room and restaurant was stained. Didn't appreciate the 10% gratuity on drinks in the bar and service was slow.Breakfast was very average.

Clean and comfortable and tastefully furnished.
