Nothing was great. The bedding was clean at least. It was cheap to stay but it wasn¿t worth it.

The room wasn¿t very clean¿ the carpet smelled bad. The water pressure in the shower was terrible¿. The staff was hard to understand and I got double charged for my room. The bed was uncomfortable.

Rooms are in need of some SERIOUS refurbishment. There was mould on the ceilings in bedroom,holes in walls in the bathroom. Mattress very cheap and gave me backache. Curtains at least 20years old. Tv very small. Condiments just put in a cereal bowl and a cheap budget kettle. Hallway carpet has rips in them and the stairs were very hollow. Awful smell walking through the hallways ?. Breakfast was stone cold, only toast and a couple of cereals to choose from. Would benefit from having some yoghurts/fruit also for a £12 each breakfast. Staff were ok if you could get hold of one of them. Found stood around chatting amongst themselves. I feel bad leaving a poor review but in this case felt it was absolutely necessary.

Room was comfortable,clean and warm with plenty of hot water. Tea & coffee in room. Good value for what was provided.evening meal was excellent and staff were friendly.

Some areas were a little dated,carpet ripped on stairs and some furniture and fittings needing attention in room.

Good location, good price. Reception staff friendly. Comfortable bed and clean room.

Unfortunately due to a late night wedding venue, loud high bass music went on past midnight. Very little sleep.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location was excellent- the coastal path goes through the car park.

Bed was uncomfortable and room furnishings are quite dated.

The staff were lovely

The rooms are very old and outdated, really could do with makeover. No plug sockets by the bed, and only 1 to use. Only 1 lamp above the bed worked. The walkway to our room was very dark as the lights were broken. The floor underneath the worn away carpets were very uneven and on the stairs.

Great location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations so overall we enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are a little dated but this is reflected in the excellent value.

It was our honeymoon and I had asked if we could order (and pay for) a welcome pack with refreshments/fruits. As the venue hosts weddings I thought this might be an offer we could have taken advantage of.I grew up in Llnafairpwll hence choosing this venue/location.

Room needs a spruce up, creaky bed, broken toilet flusher handle. No shower

We knew that the property would be dated, so the room was fine for what we needed.It had everything we needed. We didn't have breakfast. The location was excellent for visiting family in Bangor and was a good price. If we had had normal, considerate neighbours and no interconnecting door,our stay would have been a great deal better

The bar was expensive, so we didn't use it on our second night. Also we were the only ones in the bar, so felt a bit conspicuous. There was a very noisy group of men in the room next door, who rolled in during the early hours of our first night. The next morning they were even noisier & were banging on our door asking to be let in!! My husband shouted at them that they were trying the wrong room & to keep the noise down! There was an interconnecting door between the two rooms which was far from ideal and I was concerned that they could get into our room, so was very uneasy. Also because it wasn't a solid wall, it really felt and sounded as if they were in the same room and didn't feel secure! The interconnecting door needed bricking up for sound proofing, security and privacy.

Hotel staff were warm and welcoming and always happy to help.

Let’s be honest the hotel probably has seen its best years, but that like all of us, ain’t it ? What it lacks in modern stylings it makes up for in kinds was and helpfulness of staff, location and price. I will definitely go back!! Thank you for a lovely stay.

The room was clean and plenty of hot water. Downstairs had obviously had a lot of money spent on it

Everything besides the downstairs wedding area needed serious renovated. torn and worn carpets, windows that we couldnt open as they had been screwed shut. As there was a wedding on, we were unable to order any food until the wedding meal had been served which we were informed would be another hour and a half.. it was already 7pm... we ended up having to order pizza from just eat and eat it on the patio surrounded by wedding guests...

Staff friendly, good location, ample parking, key card to outside entrance so could come and go as and when we wanted, free WiFi and good tv signal, could take the dog, although now £15 not £10, for some reason due to a mix up with booking our dog hadn't been included but did switch our rooms to accommodate us. Water nice and warm for shower although very dated it worked well. Nice patio areas outside and illuminated light by the entrance pretty and welcoming

Hotel very dated and aged but for the price we paid we couldn't grumble, but wouldn't stop longer than afew nights.....room was clean, but no main light in room, one of the plug sockets didn't work, aerial cable stretched and frayed, every 15 minutes all night there was the sound like a cistern filling after you flush a toilet, which if I hadn't of been shattered would of kept me awake....we did get up at 6 though as once awake it stopped us getting back to sleep....luckily we were only in the room from 10.30pm ....carpets and furniture all seen better days, and damp on wall, but like I've said for a one off to just use as a Base for a few days it's perfectly adequate....didn't eat there so couldn't comment on the food/bar. We knew from reviews what to expect so met our expectations, even though we hadn't anticipated much more than what we got

Staff very friendly and helpful

Stairs leading to bedrooms with ripped and old carpets, bedroom very old fashioned, uncomfortable bed and pillows, ensuite bad, no flush on the toilet, no double glazing, doors felt unsafe. Not pleasant.

For the price paid there is nothing not to like

There is a lovely walk under the Brittania bridge that you can access from the hotel's grounds.

The property was beautiful at night and super clean, the rooms were old but really comfy

The windows had a breeze coming through when closed The radiator wasn’t really warm

Location. Staff. Good size room.

Shabby and in need of improvement and updating. Bed was uncomfortable.
