Small and nice hotel, perfectly clean and comfortable.

Cancellation Policy: no refund if cancelled less that 48h in advance. This is MUCH TOO LONG, and this is what could lead me to make a different choice. When travelling for business, I do need more flexibility.

Decent location, close to shops etc. Good breakfast, we dint's eat dinner. Room ok, comfy bed.

Poor service in the morning. They did have weddings on both nights we have stayed. Guests were knocking to our room looking for their friends.

Room was cold & dark when we arrived heating wasn’t working and had a bulb out in an already dark room Girl on reception was amazing sorted heating out and changed bulb this all tookAbout an hour Room was very dark decor and dusty in places on closer inspection Bathroom was so cold and shower area didn’t look very clean shower was luke warm on full Only one packet of biscuits and no hot chocolate and stained cups Only 1 small bottle of water Car park badly lit we couldn’t find the entrance as so dark had to ask someone how do we get in Car park literally right outside the bedroom window car parked about 1 foot from window Said breakfast included in the price but on arrival was told this is continental breakfast only and had to preorder if wanted cooked breakfast at £18 suppliment per breakfast

Very clean, lovely rooms. Good location for what I need, lovely staff and restaurant is amazing too.

The wet room shower gets water everywhere, and goes under the half door between shower area and toilet.

11am was check out and got a knock on the door 9.30 asking if we was ready to check out. If you want a few hot drinks in the morning take some milk as you only get left a small amount in fridge

Lighting in the room was a bit dark, room, Curtains needed adjusting so they could be closed properly as they were slightly hanging off the rail .

Loved the breakfast, wonderful bread, perfectly cooked packed eggs, superb yoghurt and home made granola. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Very Very cold in the bathroom because the heater didn’t work. In the room also they have only heater actually I suggest to put air-con to make temperature in the room stable. Anyway the staff brought me one more moveable heater as I requested.

The hotel reception was very clean and welcoming and the staff member was very helpful.The room was nice and warm when we opened the door and very clean and tidy. The room had an ensuite toilet with shower and bath. Above the bath was a tv screen with freeview channels pre-programmed.The toilet, bath and shower are behind a glazed door.There are drink making facilities, kettle, glasses and in the fridge was a couple of bottles of water and a small jug of fresh milk!.The bed was super comfortable and we had a fairly good nights sleep.The breakfast was really lovely, as was the breakfast manager working on the shift. We opted for the cooked breakfast option which we both thoroughly enjoyed.Parking wasn't a problem at the hotel, it seems a fairly safe part of the town so didn't need to worry about parking a car up overnight.

We didn't like the glazed door into the bathroom area, although this offered some privacy, you could see an outline of someone sat on the toilet etc!.It also isn't possible to leave the bathroom light (or a nearby light) during the night to provide lighting for if you get up during the night. I ended up leaving my phone torch light on all night to provide some minimalistic lighting.There isn't any aircon in the room and whilst the room was welcoming when we arrived, we both woke up sweating during the night despite earlier turning off the radiator. This was quickly fixed though by opening the large window in the room, even with the window open, there wasn't much road noise. I think the summer months may be a problem however. (There was a tower fan but this didn't give much air out but it was fairly silent).

Easy to park, rooms are quite large, modern, fabulous food in the ajoining restaurant. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly

We found the ajoining door between rooms allowed for the noise levels to be annoying. Unfortunately we had loud inconsider guests next to us but the hotel very kindly moved our room. This was really appreciated and the new room was unbelievably quiet

The room was spotless with lots of little extras. Staff were very friendly. Bed was extra comfy. The breakfast buffet was nice

Cut my finger on the toilet flush, it got trapped. Didn't like the "small suplement" for the hot breakfast when you are expected to pay full price. Lighting not great for doing makeup/hair

The room was beautiful. Tastefully decorated. The comfiest bed with amazing pillows. The staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. All in all a good stay.

Decor feels more personal to the owners than the customer.

The one member off staff that was on Sunday morning was v helpful tho

No staff at reception when checking in or out Just one member off staff on Sunday morning doing breakfast and running the hotel, all doors were locked to the wedding venue , so we couldn’t collect goods, you would off thought there would be staff to help after a wedding

Beautiful hotel

They take £100 on a card as u arrive, to be returned up to 2 weeks later. Unnecessary. Most hotels take your details just in case. Food was very expensive.

Didn’t have breakfast but i think breakfast should be included in the price , location isn’t too bad ,it’s cheaper to book with booking .com than book directly, The bed and room are good valué

No decaf coffee , coffee cups are very small . Not much milk either

Good location close to Scunthorpe town centre and the steelworks. Quite an easy walk from the station.Very comfy bed and good shower pressure. The real milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Continental breakfast was good too.

It would have been nice to have been offered a second cup of coffee at breakfast, but a minor point.The very dark walls in my bedroom at least really showed the dust and dirt, so really needs to be cleaned better, although everything else seemed pretty clean. The shower was good, but the minimal provision for the shower door meant water everywhere…The main issue was the awful noise of the bathroom fans, not so much mine (which I could turn off) but that of the room next door. It was far too loud and very intrusive.

Room was clean & tidy. Room facilities were exceptional. Continental breakfast had very good choice.

There was nothing to fault.
