Lovely country hotel with good restaurant with typical cuisine
Beautiful location with historic buildings. Room was comfortable once the heat had time to work. Lovely on site restaurant. Nadia was a charming host and her son spoke English which was a help.

Badia il Vingone was the real place for us, like a group of 10 people plus 2 children for our stay in Citta di Castelo.
The apartments were fully equipped with all necessary things for comfort stay. We highly recommended this place for a peaceful stay in Citta di castelo .

Unreservedly recommended. It's a lovely, family-friendly place with a very good restaurant.
It's a lovely place. It's up a pretty rough dirt road, and if you are on a motorbike it might be difficult, but it's beautiful, quiet and clean, and the restaurant is very, very good. In the middle of the week, out of season, we were the only guests and they opened the restaurant and gave us a fantastic meal, completely catering for one of us who is gluten intolerant.
I would recommend Badia il Vingone, and I'd like to go back again.
Could have done with some basics - e.g. salt, pepper, sugar - in the en-suite kitchen. But this was such a minor thing next to all the great stuff; lovely, helpful people, great food, delicious coffee, beautiful scenery and more.
