SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Auburn

clean, convenient for shopping , dining, easy access from I69. Nice screened in sitting areas.

Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast.

No ramps. Had to carry luggage up steps. Had minor problems with tv remote and toilet seat.

Beautiful foyer when you walk in, close to restaurants

This was NOT a 3 star hotel. The rooms need a thorough make over and cleaning. The bedding. Pillows, light fixtures were soiled and stained. The room had a musty smell. Hallway was dingy. Dead ants in the window ledge.

Location

The bathroom bathtub was leaking, there was damaged on the walls due to the water damage. The towels and bedding was old and cringy.

Room was clean, and heating worked well. We were placed in a room very near the lobby and the ice machine. We liked that. Checkin was quick and easy.

The location and price

The rooms were awful. I had to go to Walmart to by wipes to clean things I would touch. I didn¿t even feel comfortable blow drying my hair the dryer was so dirty. I could go n but not enough room.

Pillows were soft, mattress was firm.

No elevator.

There is a lot of older memorabilia in the lobby, especially related to Old Fashioned Cars. It¿s really nice.

There is no elevator for the 2nd floor.

My room was very clean and they had breakfast and the staff were very friendly!!

Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quite and the breakfast was great. It was also a great price and right off the interstate.

Cool old building and clean. Great breakfast and just a cool old motel.

For me it was great. But it didnt have elevator to second floor.

Our entire room was in need of a good deep clean. The towels and bedding had a smell that was not pleasant. It needs updated. There was no USB plug to charge our phones. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable.

The staff was friendly.

Smells like smoke. The screened porch has a smoking and non smoking which doesn't really help at all because the smoke gets on both sides. Stairways were very dirty and overall smell was not good smokey and just not good.

Outdated and unkept. The drywall is peeling on nearly every wall. The landscaping is overgrown. Nowhere near a 3 star hotel.

Location was good.

The hotel smelled strongly of formaldihyde. The tub was slippery and I fell in it. When I informed the staff at check out, she said they used to have signs stating they had bath mats available.They are aware of a problem and have not corrected it.

My family played checkers in the lobby several times. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and individually wrapped. The front desk replaced the smoke detector's battery within 5 mins of calling. He was very prompt & efficient. We will come back!

Easy access

Room next to mine had clothes and belongings out in hall for several hours. More like extended stay. But manager was very nice

Ambiance in public spaces specific to Auburn. Cleanliness.

It's impossible to roll your luggage in the front door without jumping a 4-5 inch curb. The hot (COVID)breakfast was underwhelming.

Staff greeted us with "you're going to have a great stay." Love the enthusiasm and confidence.

Rooms were somewhat older and our tv was broken The room air conditioner was not in the best state of repair.
