There was no one at the reception at my arrival and check-out. The receptionist appeared almost half an hour after my arrival. I couldn't see any one at the reception and I left the keys on the front desk and left.

The mattress tended to slip down the bed making you feel as if you were to fall down, when you were close to the edge on it. As the room was too little, the bed was sticked to the wall.

The location

“There was an African wedding party going on, and the children were running and racing through the hallways and even opened the door to our bedroom at 11 p.m.… and we were sleeping on the second floor. During breakfast, there was no staff to be seen, and we had (no other choice) to sit at a table that had been left dirty and uncleared… not nice!”

Fantastic restaurant , food and service excellent. The new room was nice, helpful staff.

First room given was not acceptable , 2nd room ok. New one was a redone . All very noisy . Curtains 1/2 of the rail. Light not working . Could not get the TV remote working properly.

The air conditioning was not working, and if you open the windows we got eaten by mosquitoes. They brought us a little swamp cooler but just for one room. The TVs did not work, they were missing equipment, again they fixed one but not the other. The Wi-Fi only worked in the hallway so as soon as the door closed the signal went away. The sign in the room said one thing about the wi-fi but we had to track down an employee to find out that the sign was wrong, and we needed another password for the wi-fi. There was no one there to check us in at 4:00 we found someone after 10 minutes but she knew very little but gave us the room key and towels.

Disappointing

The hotel broke the law. The receptionist (unknown, because he did not identify himself), all we know is that it was Samuel D. (information for the author) who took pictures of our IDs with his private phone. He did not obtain our consent for this. We were exposed to identity theft. No confidentiality rules were maintained (GDPR - 2016/679). The situation is very suspicious. We are reporting this practice of this hotel to the appropriate European authorities. I will not even mention the fact that during our stay very loud music was blaring until 4 am. We are very disappointed with our stay.

A place to sleep right above the party venue! A lot of character in this place, but it lacks upkeep. Staff is doing the best they can though.

The reception asked me city taxes while it was already included in the price. The shower gels were almost empty and there was no warm water.

Shower door didn’t close properly, several light bulbs needed changing.Staff not helpful initially, we had requested early check in, only to be told it was not possible…. They did manage it eventually. Very noisy social occasion that evening which we were not told about.

The castle is really nice, the rooms are clean and they look also nice

The WI-FI connection broke to often and it was not cover in all the castle.

The hotel was well situated the scenery was beautiful

the room, carpet with strange spots, very bad smell, had to sleep with window open in order to to smell the odors of bathroom, …. and the wedding location. they gave me (no invited to tbe wedding) the first room at the first floot…. my god, the noice the whole night. the hotel is such a huge builduing: why not giving the last floor or the last room at the first floor???? when i asked at the admission, the reception tender just smilled and seemed drunken ass well…. strange all

One lady was very nice and helpful. The location is nice, with the "castle" flair. The surroundings are nice, with the park surrounding the place. Easy to reach by car.

This was before very nice before the pandemics. But the current state is just a shadow of what it was before. This must be improved a lot to regain the status it had. At arrival, it was as if were not expected. The cleanliness must be improved as the carpets were stained, and the bathroom was not clean.
