Friendly staff good location

No telephone in room and no blankets on bed

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Location very close to cruise terminal

Staff was really nice, location was good, toilet was broken but the staff was really helpful and got it fixed really fast

Certain parts especially the curtains, carpets and other parts were quite dirty, the room light was dim and not well lit, the bathroom exhaust fan was really loud. Got some bites on my neck, not sure if there were bed bugs. Overall its a good hotel especially that the staff were really nice and willing to help.

It’s extremely convenient right near city center and the train station and it’s affordable.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. It’s perfect for what it is.

Breakfast was great and worth the cost. Staff was amazing. Hotel was within walking distance of bus stop and cruise terminal. There are also many stores nearby.

Bathroom not too clean.

It was a very nice stay.Our room was on the 5th floor.The view of the city and a piece of the port was great.Location was a perfect 10 out of 10.

I liked the location and the quality of the rooms.

To be honest, the sofa beds are cheaply made and not very comfortable. You can’t sit on the ends of them to put on socks or shoes because the foot of the sofa bed is just supported by elastic woven straps, not planks like the upper half of the bed.

Comfy room, good bed. Toiletries were good quality

Would have liked a coffee maker such as Nespresso and maybe a small biscuit

Location was great-easy to get to everything, close to train and easy for ride shares to find.

Only one person in front of me when checking in yet it took 20 minutes! Only one key card issued, I had to ask for a second. No phone in the room instead we were given a mobile number instead. We had to go downstairs to the bar to see the food menu before we could order because there was nothing in the room then we were charge extra for room service.The food finally arrived about 30 minutes after we ordered and yes it was cold and poorly cooked neither my daughter or myself ate our meals. Novotel are not in the same league as Holiday Inn. I will not be staying at Novotel again.

-The toilet was separate to the bathroom and some things were not attended to.. light switch paint peeling, hinges loose so hard to shut the door and it was sprayed with a texture that made it look like a white cell -bathroom no extractor fan so lots of condensation after a shower, no non slip mat for the bath-bedroom one socket not working, water not replaced on second dayGeneral lack of maintenance for what they say is an exceptional stay , for £202 a night the bar was set WAY to high … if it was £90 a night it would have felt better value.

The staff was great.

The place was a dump, and it needed a total face-lift . The layout was terrible with the bathroom setup. They really need AC. It is a budget hotel at a premium hotel price.

I sincerely appreciated that the hotel reached out to let us know that a party was planned for the night we were staying and that there may be loud music. Our rooms were made and ready for us. That was a lovely touch!

Small toilet room with no ventilation

Room and shower a bit tight. Nice communal area in the lobby. Decent breakfast.Close to Bus/train. and the Horizon Port. Other ports have closer hotels Photo is from Horizon Port looking out to the other ports.
