Guest Inn Lebanon (Ohio)

Pros +

• It seemed recently remodeled. The shower, sink, and toilet all looked new.I’m sensitive to smells. Upon entering the room I noticed a disinfectant smell, strong enough to smell clean but not so strong as to cause my eyes and throat to hurt.
• I don’t understand the bad reviews. I hear the service can be bad, but who cares you are here for a budget Inn. Im not looking for someone to stroke my ego. The man who helped me was very nice and accommodating. I enjoyed the low key and minimalist aspect of this property. I chose to stay here because all i wanted was a clean bed and a tv for cheap. Thats exactly what you get and nothing more. The property was very clean and put together. It seems like they keep up with all of the repairs and make sure everything is looking good. I liked all of the potted plants around the outside of the office. Also you can quickly walk to Taco Bell, Burger King, Speedway and other places as they neighbor the property.
• The room was ice cold when we arrived. The bathroom was freezing the entire time (so cold we did not shower)

Cons -

• By he middle of the night the disinfectant smell was beginning to bother my eyes and throat a little.
• They could use a better vending machine and ice machine.
• There was 2 huge cockroaches in the bathroom. Beds have not been changed since the 80's. Facility needs upgraded and repaired. Floors were uneven. Tv and refrigerator did not work. Ac/Heater was terribly loud. Never staying there again.
