The Hochharz Nature Park surrounding the Steinerne Renne Hotel is ideal for walking, hiking and cycling. Several footpaths lead guests to Brocken, the highest peak of the Harz Mountains. Outside shoes should be left in the hallway of the accommodations. Guests are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance using the telephone number on the booking confirmation. Staff will then direct guests to the property. Please note the accommodations closes at 20:00. Check-in after 20:00 is only possible if arranged with the accommodations in advance. Pros +
- Amazing view from our window - the waterfall and forest. Cosy room, and my kids loved the 'floor bed' separately from the main room. Warm and clean.
- The remoteness
Cons -
- We would have loved an electric kettle in the room.
- There are no staff and no evening meals available, breakfast, as we found out too late was not included and had to be reserved in advance, and they dont answer the phone to clarify things.
