American cuisine is served on site at Cedar Lodge. Half Dome, the popular rock climbing and hiking destination in Yosemite National Park is 20 miles away. Skiing opportunities at Badger Pass Ski Area is a 30-minute drive from the property.

Pros +
- We had a decent size room, larger than expected. The room came with a refrigerator and large screen TV. There were two pools, one outside and one in doors. We enjoyed the hot tub. Large game room with ping-pong and other games.

- It's clean, friendly, great room large, close to town and beach and other destinations
Cons -
- No elevator, we had to walk up two flights of stairs to our room. No microwave in the room. No coverage for my phone network. Sketchy or no Wi-Fi.
- The price paid was absurd for the lack of internet and lack of breakfast. Room was on the second floor of a back row building with no elevator, no way to move luggage easily, no way to actually park near the room, shower was made for a child under 4 ft.
