Cons -
- Getting a knock on our door from house keeping at 10.30am when we didn’t have to check out until 11am

The room was very nice and a lovely large bathroom with good all round amenities
The room was very warm even with the heating turned down, I turned it off completely and t was still very warm. room 407.Also we went out and came back at 10,20 and the bar was closed
room excellent, staff very good .restaurant exce eded expectation for both dinner and breakfast.
Happy with everything
Quirky convenient
No fridge although ice was brought to my room so a solution was offered
Very nice hotel
Cleaners came into room before check out time while we were still in bed
Room was a brillisnt size. Well worth the money.10 min walk to the races 1 way and a 10 min walk the other way to town.Breakfast well worth the money.Free parking out the back.
Nothing all good.
Amazing art deco hotel, truly unique
The rooms are quite dated and need some refurbishment.
A great hotel with masses of character. A Truly incredible Art Deco hotel with great friendly staff and good food. The breakfast was as good as it gets. An experience not to be missed
Staff so kind and helpful
Lobby felt cold. Bar and restaurant too quiet
the hotel was clean and tidy but not a 4 star
windows didnt open
Leaving, the place was dirty, not looked after, had to leave as no cold water in the first room, they moved us to another room, that was the same, had to book elsewhere and claim a full refund
Size of the room and furniture within room. Bed was comfortable and hotel was clean throughout.
Air con was so noisy we had to turn it off. The windows could not be opened resulting in a stuffy room. Barman was rude and abrupt.
Impressive reception and dining/ lounge area - Gatsby inspired! Lovely welcome at reception, smooth and easy check in.
Bedroom decor and facilities quite basic , given the first impression in the hotel lobby, it was a little disappointing. Needs updating. there was a small leak from the tap base in the sink ( brownish water puddled) - did not flow into sink but is clear there is some maintenance needed and updating of suite/taps etc.
The whole property was clean but has a vibe that you just felt so comfortable and it didn’t feel stiff. The staff were so friendly and would definitely go back if I was back in Doncaster
If I have to find something… slippery floors in showers and I would suggest adding something to avoid falling but not necessary
the dinner at the restaurant was very nice, decent portions. I regret not trying the breakfast but we had to leave very early in the morning. The room was spacious and comfortable. Big wardrobe, big bathroom and comfortable bed. Mattress was firm, this i how I like it :) I like the art deco design of the hotel and the rooms too. The decoration on the outside and communal spaces is very nice.
There could have been a few shelves in the wardrobe for bits that can`t go on a hanger. The corridors feel a bit dated due to the old carpet, lack of lighting and a bit of an "old" smell...but nothing major.
Lovely property, staff were amazing. Parking at the property. Only stayed for a night for work conference at the race course which is about 10mins walk so perfect location.
Heating was very loud at night when it kept turning on and off. Woke me up everytime.
The location of the Hotel was very good for a day at the races, and an evening out in Doncaster, The Art Deco style of the Hotel was nice.
Location, staff and food great
