Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Country Club Plaza

Great location which made it very easy to walk the Plaza and catch the street car to downtown. Staff was friendly, accommodations were nice. Parking was close, we chose to pay the $15/night. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and unique each day.

Some of the room showed its age, but overall it met our needs. The bathroom could use an update, shower head and handle leaked. The floor of the bathtub felt like it wasn't solid underneath, very uneven.

Location is excellent! Breakfast is great and Studio rooms have all the amenities you need, price is super good for all you get! Covered parking too is a plus. Would stay again if in the Kansas City área.

The location was good. Close enough to downtown and to shopping. They had a decent free breakfast. Staff was nice.

Needs some some work done to the rooms. Our couch was broken and the fireplace didn't work. The water from the faucets smelt like fish. The rooms were small.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning with different options available, of course always offering the fresh waffles, bagels, cereal, and yogurt among other things. There was obviously great care taken in the preparation and flavors, we were so pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Large area with tables to enjoy your breakfast. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a nice little market available with snacks and other small things for purchase. Also, free cookies! It is a very easy walk (be mindful it is up a hill on the way back as most places are in the area) to the Country Club Plaza and all it has to offer. We were able to easily find a parking spot on the street and there is a garage with parking as well. The bed was comfortable and there is a sitting area with a couch, a large sink area and tub/shower, and a good sized kitchen with a full refrigerator and a very well-functioning icemaker. It was nice to not have to go to the machine. I can see if someone needed to stay for a while, this would be a very pleasant option with everything you'd need. Also, a fireplace in the room was an unexpected perk!

The breakfast was good. The location was excellent, in a nice neighborhood walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Good location

Someone was smoking in another unit and it came in our suite horribly. The staff addressed it quickly but it was so strong for these asthma sufferers

Nice and quiet location. Good prices.

The room was small. You if you were using the restroom and someone would of came in they would of got you with the door. The door is way way too close to the toilet. The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable. Their was no mention of paying to park. And also no mention of the construction that hindered parking.
