The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is big and the bed was decently clean and comfortable. Clean towels in the bathroom. I would say it’s a decent room for the money.

A little bit cold inside and I couldn’t put the AC on heat mode. Now...aside from the room itself, be aware: As a COVID prevention measure, Ciampino Airport closes during the night, so, if you arrive late, you will be herded outside [Link Redacted] you want, you can admire the beautiful Italian night sky in an almost empty parking area, in the cold. Even if the location appears to be 850 meters away from the airport, it’s across the runway, which will force you to call a taxi. Hmm...20 euros for a one way 4 km trip will almost double the price of the accommodation. Considering my alternative of spending the night outside the airport for at least 4,5 hours, at 10 degrees C, I felt I had no choice but to feed the hungry Roman wolfish cab drivers.(I tried to call an [Link Redacted] didn’t show up and charged me 7 euros for “his disturbance”.)
