Daiwa Roynet Hotel Koriyama-Ekimae

The hotels proximity to the train station is great. Staff did their best in speaking English and was extremely courteous. Breakfast was excellent and had a very wide variety of dishes to select from.

Reception area was on the 4th floor.

Location was excellent, right across from the Koriyama Station. Breakfast buffet was very good.

The automative check-in made everything a bit impersonal.

Staff very helpful. My luggage delivery was returned due to careless error of a famous ryokan I stayed earlier. The staff was patient and contacted Yamato to rearrange the delivery before my departure. They also called my next hotel to ensure the luggage delivery will be smooth. Very professional, felt welcomed, good location, highly recommended.

The breakfast can be better.

Right across the street of the main train station, so the location is great. Otherwise this is a typical Japanese business hotel with small rooms but most needed amenities provided.

I love the property. Convenience at its best. Located right next to the Shinkansen and many stores, this hotel is CONVENIENT. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and very clean. New updated bathrooms and very kind staff. They were very helpful. I would recommend to anyone going to Koriyama to stay here.

Consistantly great service from this hotel and we got it again this trip. Love the location (directly across from the station) and within walking distance to the car hire group we use. Staff are wonderful and the room is always top notch!

Just a few steps from the station, it’s very easy to find. Smooth check-in and check-out. We were able to send our luggage to another hotel with the help of receptionists. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Great stay overall.

All good, would stay again without hesitation.

When traveling in Japan, I like to get out of the crowds. Koriyama was a great Shinkansen stop on the way to Sendai. Convenient location, comfortable room, great staff, near restaurants and convenience stores for snacks/meals. Nearby shops fulfilled my shopping list. Easy-to-use train station with no crowds. I encourage travelers to look for hotels like this one. They are easy to book, near the station and easy to find, safe and comfortable, reasonably priced, and allow access to parts of Japan away from the major cities and crowds. Note that the front desk is not on the ground floor.

good location, clean, spacious room, very nice staff, delicious and varied breakfast

Good location, clean room, nice staff, delicious breakfast

Was a good, comfortable place to stay! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location next to Koriyama train station!

Pillows were too low. Woke up the next day with a sore neck!

We were upgraded to a room with a massage chair!! Great view looking out over the train station. Very comfortable room with great bathroom facilities!

Stayed 3 nights. Nice hotel, nice room and close to the station and other conveniences. You couldn't hear any noise from the trains, traffic or other people in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

The location, the facilities, and the staff; they don't speak English very well, but they try to help and have a good service mindset.

Closeness to station we arrived late into evening. Nice big room and friendly welcoming staff.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Room upgrades Bathroom.

Coffee at breakfast. A barista coffee would be nice

Location, room size and good bathroom

Beds hard

Great location right across the train station, yet it’s very quiet. Close to all bars and restaurants. The staff was very nice, kept our luggage before check in and also gave us an alternative room since we accidentally ordered a smoking room. Recommended.

Moderate rooms have spacious bathrooms, the on-site laundry was handy, and we liked the in room seating / table set up, with a view over station and hills. Good to access train nearby to see surrounding area. Helpful and welcoming staff.

Not a big deal but having the bed against the wall meant partner had to clamber out the end (not impossible, but awkward). I guess for the total room size, a generous bathroom makes up for that.

Excellent location for main shops, restaurants and transport.
