Pros +
- The hotel is truly beautiful — it has a unique, slightly bohemian vibe and incredible attention to detail. We stayed in a spacious suite with great A/C, a lovely design, and an overall very comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt well thought out and the staff were friendly. The included breakfast is amazing and delicious, absolutely worth it.
- Gorgeous hotel in a really beautiful setting! The hotel has a really cool vibe, absolutely gorgeous views and a really brilliant selection at breakfast. The car park was handy too although it is small so sometimes we did not get a spot.
- Bikini Island Hotel Review (Stayed Sept 22–29, 2025)I am a hospitality professional and travel frequently for both work and leisure. I understand what to expect from hotels across different price ranges, and I can confidently say this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had.ConsFitness Facilities: The gym is a disaster. Equipment is old, broken, and left exposed on the rooftop. No treadmill available. I’ve stayed at budget hotels with gyms 10x nicer.Yoga & Spa: Yoga classes book up days in advance, and spa/sauna must be reserved, meaning you can’t enjoy facilities spontaneously.Crowded & Chaotic: The hotel is constantly packed, with non-guests from the restaurant flooding the lobby and hallways every night. Reception is always full, and it takes forever to speak to someone.Rooms: Incredibly small with no storage or drawers. Cabinets above the bed require stepping on the bed to access (unsanitary). I had nowhere to unpack clothes for a month-long trip. Even hangers were useless—bamboo-shaped and unable to hold dresses or tops. I had to repeatedly request more.Noise: Zero soundproofing. You hear every cough, sneeze, and footstep—even on the top floor. Constant banging and noise, plus being near reception and bathrooms meant pushing through crowds daily.Staff & Service: Staff acted like guests were a bother, not a priority. The WhatsApp “support” is just a useless AI bot. Despite reaching out multiple times about issues, the hotel was not accommodating. On the very last day, they offered to let us move rooms, but since we were leaving at 3:00 am the next morning, it was far too late to matter.Food & Drink: Pool menu is limited and uninspired (mostly basic American options). Breakfast is good but overcrowded, items constantly run out, and cups are tiny—2oz max, requiring endless refills. Navigating the buffet feels like an obstacle course.Parking: Nightmare. With non-guests dining at the hotel, parking fills up.
Cons -
- No working WiFi in the room which is unacceptable for the price we pay nightly. Staff made no effort to fix it. There’s a staff WiFi that does work and they wouldn’t give us that. Restaurant staff in general was not helpful or at all accommodating for even the smallest requests like removing an ingredient from a sandwich!
- The pool water was freezing cold, which made it impossible to enjoy. Mallorca hotels really need to regulate pool temperatures — in Mexico and the U.S., standard heated pools are much more comfortable. Also, the pillows weren’t great, and the duvet was split into two single ones, which made the bed less cozy than expected.
- I found the pillows quite uncomfortable and some of the staff a little dismissive

We liked the location of the hotel overlooking the bay. We enjoyed the bar & pool area.
The rooms were small. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny & the water always flowed onto the floor when taking a shower. There is a not a proper gym which would have been lovely. The food wasn't great. It was okay, but nothing special.
The hotel amenities are great. Everything looks perfect and beautiful. Restaurant area amazing with a perfect view.
The room was so ugly and tiny. With green walls and almost no room to walk. It was over 350usd x night. So, you expect more. Not good value for money
Pool, the location, and the atmosphere
Disaster breakfast, arrogant staff, they make us feel that we are feel not welcomed, the hotel missing a soul
The location is not bad with a nice view on the bay and port
The staff are not friendly and not very helpful No services at the hotelParking always full - the lot is very small anyway Room service not available The bar staff are rude and not friendly The staff kicks you out at 11PM, they turn off everything at 12AM you feel ur not welcome The rooms are small
A stunningly decorated hotel with easy access to the port, shops, restaurants and bars. The restaurant is exceptional and well worth booking during your stay.
Stay away.
My stay at Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel in Port de Sóller fell well short of expectations in terms of service, professionalism, and basic hospitality standards.Upon arrival, no one came to greet me or offer assistance with my luggage. I entered the hotel dragging two large suitcases, a carry-on, and a handbag, with no acknowledgment or support from any staff. Throughout my stay, interactions with staff were cold and unwelcoming, with the exception of one kind team member I encountered on my final night & the male receptionist as I was checking out. When I entered my room, I found water on the floor, which was left by housekeeping. The room itself was extremely small, with very limited space to move around or store belongings. On the first day, I placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door and left my room, where my passport, cash, and jewelry were left out. When I returned, I found two pool towels placed on the bed. When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was told that if housekeeping is rushed or unable to finish cleaning in one visit, they might return later—even if the Do Not Disturb sign is up. Entering a room under these conditions is a clear breach of privacy and safety. On the second day, I placed a shirt on top of the pillows before leaving. When I came back, it was missing. I reported it to the front desk, who assured me that nothing had been touched and asked me to search again. I did—thoroughly. The manager said he would check with housekeeping and call me by 10 a.m. the next day. No one contacted me. I followed up at 1 p.m., and was told again that nothing had been found. When I expressed concern, the manager responded by asking if I was accusing housekeeping of theft—something I had never said. I found the comment inappropriate and dismissive. Later that day when I was at the pool, I saw the manager and a housekeeping staff member in my room.
We loved the restaurant and the host taking reservations there, she was very friendly and helpful. The communal parts of the hotel are very well designed. Breakfast was also one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel.
Upon arrival, we did not feel welcomed from front desk. We were staying in the bay room and she had just told us to walk out to the pool to go to our room. When we walked out everyone was having lunch and we were stood there with our suitcases not knowing where to go and had to ask around. Front desk was not helpful throughout our stay. We asked to book a private transfer to the hotel, which they sent us a link to pay. When we went to pay a few hours later, it had expired so when we went back to the front desk they said we were unable to book now bc the transfers had to be confirmed 24 hours prior. Throughout our stay there were tiny bugs on the bed and I could feel them biting us throughout the night which made it really uncomfortable. The next day my boyfriend and I had bug bites all over our body. This was also after we had bought our own bug spray and sprayed the room.
Fantastic location. E-bikes available free at all times. Pool are was beautifully landscaped and restaurant very good. Lots of nice welcome touches. Easy parking.
Bed was rock hard like I was sleeping on a computer desk from IKEA and I actually like a very firm bed. I had to sleep on the comforter for some relief.
Loved the breakfast, evening restrant and poolside bar
Sun loungers a little packed in and a bit of a scramble in the morning for best ones. Also all pool facing so not much privacy for a it swim
Interior design is fabulous, room was very clean.
There was no view from my room, just a bush. I paid for a Bay House Room (Tramuntana & lateral sea view) and couldn’t see anything. I asked to change and staff said I would have to pay extra. The staff were friendly but not attentive, we had to constantly walk up to them and try grab their attention during breakfast and poolside. The waiters in the donkey bar were particularly poor as these weren’t attentive or friendly. The hotel deactivated our key cards on the last night leaving us outside the entrance gates for 20 mins, we kept ringing the bell which goes through to reception but no one answered. Other guests had to let us in. The neni restaurant was nice but overrated. We got the chef surprise menu, the starters were very nice but the mains portions were tiny and tasted average. It was the most expensive meal we had in port de solller and really wasn’t worth it. The phone in our bedroom didn’t work and the shower was often cold.
Breakfast was amazing and loved all the views!! The room was a bit small but they made it work with efficient furnishings. The pool was too cold for us to get in, wish it had been heated or there was a hot tub available. But all in all a really lovely hotel and would recommend and/or visit again!
The front desk staff weren't the most helpful but we managed to figure out the things we needed.
Lovely friendly hotel.
Rooms had everything needed, a little basic but that didn’t matter as hardly in it
Great facilities. Beautiful and stylish interior. Amazing views. There are a big pool, a sauna, a steam room, a nice living area filled with books. Love the gimmick they put water bottles, sunscreen, tote bags for us to borrow. They even give scented candles. Super yummy breakfast with cafe-level coffee.
- Small room- Staff can be more helpful or smiley. Some amenities like kettle should be set in-room not on-request for the price.
Good pool
The beds were noisy and creeky, very uncomfortable. Bed linen was small and pillows were minute.
Location was very good! Be prepared for lots of walking & climbing of steps. Breakfast was very good, great choice & quality
Bedroom quality was poor. Bed mattress was very poor & the pillows were below standard for any hotel. Bathroom very small. Toilet flush broken , after being repaired still problem , water filling constantly which kept us awake at night.
Great breakfast, the town is easily reachable by foot and the sauna ist nice
