Portofino Island Resort

The only thing we didn't like was they kept a 100 dollars fee which was supposed to only be a security deposit in case of accidentals. Though there wasn't any they explained that it was the policy . We found it very abusive and dishonest

See above. That especially since we stopped there cause had to be evacuated from south Florida due to Irma . Keeping a deposit for no reason but just extra gain in such terrible time is awful.

The room was cozy and clean. The furniture looked new. The bed was comtable.

I stayed in tower 1, suite 1405 and it was lovely!! Unfortunately, the occupants of the suite directly above me hurled an empty beer can onto my balcony that almost hit me! It was a deliberate act!!!

Very nice place. Very roomy. Our 2 bedroom suite was like being at home with an amazing view. We certainly home to be able to return again.

We were here for five days, and never had any trouble

Ammenities and location were the best.

For the price paid, the apartment could have been better supplied with essentials (salt/pepper, coffee, etc.).

The unit smelled like cooked food the entire time, even though we didn't use the kitchen for meals. The shower doesn't get very hot as well

Strange guest walking around asking too many questions about my kids.

They offer late chk out - you can pay, to check out at 2p- great time, but $250- no problem us, man said call morning of, then said they couldn’t offer because new staff didn’t understand. They charged us 125$ instead, but we just left early. They were snarky about it. Also, facilities- EVERYTHING expensive.

Hard work no play!!

We had to switch rooms due to the condition of the unit— it was discussing - only to find that the new room wasn’t any better. To make matters worse the refrigerator wouldn’t freeze or cool. We called maintenance and the brought a loaner fridge but it wouldn’t freeze or cool either. I spent all of my time packing with cooler with ice to keep our food from spoiling. Keep away from tower 4 unit 606. It’s extremely uncomfortable.

The property is in an amazing location. Away from the busy Pensacola main area, but close enough (5 mins drive) to go along if you wanted to go to restaurants or the pier etc. The property was clean. And the gardens beautiful and well kept. All the staff we encountered were friendly, polite and helpful. There were plenty of elevators and they were super fast and clean. There are several pools all around the complex. We didn’t use them as we love the beach but they were all spotless and never over crowded. You can use any of the pools in the complex. Not just your towers pool. There is also an indoor heated pool. We did not use any of the eating facilities (to save money we ate in our condo) but people that we talked to loved it and we kept seeing people with pizza boxes from the restaurant ALL the time. The location is stunning no matter what tower you are in. We were in tower 4 and initially I was disappointed as I wanted to be on the gulf side. But from our HUGE balcony - we could see the Santa Rosa Sound AND the gulf as well as the most stunning sunrises. Our condo was clean, for once in many vacations the king size bed in the master was really comfortable. We slept! We were in Tower 4 and our condo was 1303. The Kitchen great and the fridge cleaned immaculately. The beach is just stunning. The water was crystal clear and not that crowded given we got there the day after JULY 4th. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. With everything you need in one resort.

What was disappointing was the sofa bed. It sunk to sit on and the bed when you pulled it out it was missing shaped and the mattress so thin. It could not be slept on. Lucky for us we found an inflatable mattress in the closet which was electric inflate and deflate. This was perfect for our 4 year old. So we didn’t need the sofa bed. If we had another adult with us. We would have had to complain about the sofa bed as it was not suitable to sleep on. The next things are really minor and things that can be super easily fixed! The knives were blunt. Next time - I am taking a sharpener as there wasn’t one in the condo. There was also no spatula - and with a grill, we needed one! Went to buy one and Walmart did not have any. We improvised with knife. The patio furniture was also extremely tired and the chairs rusty. It was fantastic having a grill outside - we cooked burgers and sausages that was a first for us in a condo (without using the public one) The built in grill was useable. It was electric. Did the job. But it was old and had to be unplugged every time.

Love the resort style pool and easy beach access. The resort water activities are great for any aged kid or adult. Parking is very convenient and the ample luggage trolleys are helpful!

The 3 bedroom condo we rented was spacious, but outdated with run down furniture. The hairdryer in the master was broken and the condo didn’t have a Keurig, iron or hand soap. You are also hit with a heavy amenities fee each day. In addition to having to buy beach activity packages. Disney style pricing.

We did not eat breakfast but the location was good.

After checking in we had another guest cursing my 18 year old son and was screaming at us. It took security about 45 minutes to show up. I assume she was taken care of because they were reviewing security footage. Not a good way to start a vacation.

property was beautiful with lots to do. The condo was very comfortable and nice.

towels and wash clothes and bedspread were dingy but when asked for new ones they had housekeeping bring more and so they showed they are attentive with request.

Clean and nicely updated. Located towards the end of the island and views of both beaches. Full kitchen and 2 bedroom 2.5 bathrooms.

It was absolutely amazing and the room was exceptionally beautiful.

It didn't have chain locks on the inside of the room door, so my kids could easily open and exit. If you were out at the beach behind the hotel before doors locked at night, there was no way to get back inside after hours. I had to wait 1.5 hours for security to find us and let us back in.

Nice clean accommodations. Comfortable beds, fast elevators, great access to beach, friendly, helpful staff at front desk ( Kaiah)

I cannot think of anything that did not meet or exceed our expectations. A tad on the pricey side, but we did get what we paid for.

There wasn’t breakfast. We wish there was more food at the resort.

We didn’t know it was pride weekend. There was too much going on and we wanted to enjoy our family.
