Surf & Sand Hotel - Free Hot Breakfast & Rentals

We checked in around 8 pm and the woman up front was so accommodating. She explained the hotel’s policies so simply and also told us about events during our stay. As someone who grew up going to Peek’s motel in PCB, this place hit all our boxes.

Price for location

Just a little outdated and the mattresses were terrible. Need replacing

My comforter had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. About an inch big. Comforter smelled like bleach so I know they washed it, but it was unnerving. Literally the only bad thing that happened though.

Easy access for everything

Not a crosswalk right at the area. Long walk to get to one, even though there's a turn lane right at entrance

Key cards for room had to be re-activated 2 different times during our stay. And maint.staff seemed irritated when we had to call because key would not work. AC for room next to us made a loud squealing noise every night and kept waking us up at night.

The location

They need new beds the mattress was very springy. There was black mold on the ceiling and also in the shower around the the soap dispenser.

Nice little beach area behind hotel on bay. Unfortunately beautiful gulf beach is across busy road. Nice breakfast but only hour and half long.

No water view even though paid extra for top floor- got 3rd floor not top. Not worth extra charge. Fridge didn't work and air conditioner barely worked.

Bikes & board options. Locations.

Clean the mold out of the bathroom & the hair. Ceiling was leaking rust looking stuff. Door didn't shut .

The location! We were in walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

The location and emenities are great and the staff was awesome!

Location and friendly staff. Felicia the front desk and I forget her name, but she was handling the guest in the dining room. She always assured we were good. Please continue to take care of your staff and they will take care of your guest. There was a winter storm towards the direction our flight was heading so we had to leave a day earlier and good thing we did or our flights would be cancel. Your staff made sure we were good and explained the process with Booking and getting a partial refund. Thank you for your kindness and we will be back.

The play area for kids had broken toys, but its okay

Everything was picture perfect! Greeted like family. Definitely a place for people who love their furry friends! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was very good, several different options were available. The staff member who worked at breakfast wad beyond friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfy. The location was excellent; right across the street from the public beach & several restaurants in walking distance.

The staff was superb . Very welcoming , friendly, even helped me through my after divorce crisis lol.

The Elevator , but it's only a 4-story building. So no biggie. But it does need the utmost maintenance.
