U Rip Resort Phi Phi Island

The staff weren¿t helpful at all. We called multiple times to get their assistance w luggage & they hung up twice. During our stay, we were disturbed by the amount of creatures in our room. Awful cleanliness levels and horrible customer services

despite the rooms are new and clean, the other spaces in the property are not, you can see trash around the place, in the middle of the way. pool was not clean and furniture was or old or broke.

Lovely quiet hotel clean rooms, comfortable beds. Lovely swimming pools

The island was wonderful. Beautiful green waters surrounded the island. Beautiful!

The food on the resort was lacking. Also, the rooms are dated.

Decent location, large pool.

Very far from the down town area, staff was not very pleasant or friendly.Breakfast was very basic and quite disappointing.Rooms were very filthy and rundown, sheets were stained and toilets would not flush with sound of water running all night.

Hotel room was big. Its a big resort. Its quiet with a good swimming pool.

Everything is really good unless you dont like walking. Its a 15 minute walk from most of the restaurants.

The price

The hotel doesn't tell you the mountain view rooms are up a hill that is very steep and rooms were so hot. It takes forever to cool down. There were bugs and roaches.

Property was in a good location next to the beach

We had to leave the hotel as it was full off bugs in our room and in our bed. The staff did try resolve the matter for us and move us but we just didn’t want to stay there after this

The location was pretty good - far enough away from the party life. Not too far to walk to everything.

The breakfast was not very good.

Bungalow stay much bigger than original room offer.Room clean. Pools lovely.

Breakfast buffet terrible. Waste of money. No bars.

The swim up rooms were very nice. We had some problems with air conditioning, but this was fixed quickly.

The hotel is approx 30 minutes walk to the main town. The hotel does not offer lunch or evening meal or bar service - you have to walk into the main town. It was very hot and the walk was a killer!

Ok for 3 stars but Rooms need a refresh as they are a Little tired and sometimes smelly and beds are quite hard too. Although they were cleaned well each day. Pool area was a bit run downFood and drink offering was very limited. No alcohol sold on site either, so no cocktails!

Good hotel, we originally had a room that smelt like sewage. We informed the staff who promptly changed our room straight away and let us look at the available rooms before moving. The pool was great, sun loungers could be updated or padding provided to make them more comfy. We heard little sound in our room which was a plus as we have stayed in some noisy hotels recently. The location is the real selling point of this hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again due to where it is situated.

Breakfast was not great but it’s nice to have some toast in the morning.

It's a nice hotle clean and staff really help full.

Breakfast was really poor.Bed was too hard like a rock.No alcohol is served in the hotle need yo walk 10 mins to get a drink.

The location is really good. Very near to the beach and walkable to other eatery and party places.

The location was at the quiet end of the island.The staff were quick to sort the mosquito problem in our room.

Much like most reviews of hotels in phi phi the bathroom stank (not the hotels faulty, but worth knowing)The pool area was run down, with a number of tiles missing.There wasn't enough sun beds and most have seen better days.The beach front is situated between two busy speed boat docks and the front of the hotel is used as a stop off for tour lunches, so don't expect to relax on the beach.Also note this is a dry hotel, no bar.
